      Hey.

Recently ive had 2 successful WILDS, like usual i become paralised and then wait untill it stops. However on those 2 occations after acouple of minuts of being in SP i tried to move, and wala i could. So this seems to be how i have WILDS.

This thread is about WILD experiences and what happens when you "wake" from the SP into the dream.

What happens with me is that im try an turn my body over, i do so but in a kind of distorted movement where my head is in the smame possition on my pillow. Then i stand up and...dream.

My first WILD was where when i "woke" up from SP into my dream i saw a figure which was supposildy the same evil pressance that haunts me during my SP but instead of being scared of it i made him into a DC and i had a LD about the book Darren Shan.

My second WILD felt like a astro projection but it was not one.

Anyway please post your views on WILD's and also some LD that you had when you had a WILD.

P.S where the hell is chat got to?

P.S.S what is the thing the replaced our titles e.g Lucid master. and is it possible to change them like the last ones.

P.S.S.S I dont like this new layout to the forum T_T lol

You can change that to whatever you want. Just click the "My Controls" button and go into your profile stuff.

And I probably wouldn't like the big change from the old board to an Invision Power Board but I think they did a great job making it look like the old board.

      And to stay on topic:
I have attempted WILDs but I don't think I did them right. Right now I am working on my dream journal and just hoping that I will stumble into a LD sometime. I think I might try WBTBing soon.

Well ive being having SP for quite some time - years - and usually when i have them i try to wake up, but instead of trying to wake up those 2 times i just let all the hollucinations pass and then concequently successfully had a WILD. So i actually have never tried to practice having a WILD because i never like having SPs I really just had them becuase i was unncuccesful at waking up from the SP.

Thats the same as me when i was young i got SP alot and of course i didn't know how to induce lucids (but still got them often) and i usally tried to move and wake up it didn't really freak me out cause i thought it was just my brain not responding to the movement but i just had an urge to move

i would usally have 1 or 2 lucids a week when i was little now its about 1 every 2 weeks now that i can induce them so its getting easier

Are WILD's neccessary to LD? I have had a WILD before [ I remember sleep paralysis and audio hallucinations] although never before I have a lucid dream..
This past week I've been dreaming every night quite vividly - & at some stages I've controlled parts of my dreams, and my actions.. but I don't remember having a WILD experience before any of them?

Some are born to endless night.

Nope. You dont need to ahve a WILD for a LD. It is just one of many ways to have a LD. You should check out the LD toutorials on this forum and website.

How do you guys actually enter the dream? Every time I try a WILD, I see the HI, enter SP but then everything just goes black eventually.

according to the tutorials, when that happens you should try opening your eyes, since your dream eyes might be closed.

Dont try opening your eyes. Most of the time that results in waking up. Instead begin to visualise a place and before you know it, you'll be there and LUCID! Hope this helps...

Dunno about that, almost everytime Ive opened them, ive been in a dream! I try to wait a bit before opening though, so I know im more 'into' the dream.

Ok, I'll give that a try. But I've never been able to fully lose the sensation of my body on my bed when I attempt a WILD.

Is it possible to get into a lucid dream when you can still feel your body a bit? I've relaxed and let go just enough to stay conscious, sometimes up to 1 1/2 hours, but never thought of opening my eyes. But then again I had done that once I think but was still in my bed.

How long should it take for WILD to work?
