Just curious if anyone has experienced this? I recently had a LD where I spoke soley in Spanish! I took the subject in high school, but haven't tried to speak it in years. In my dream I completely understood it and spoke it fluently, something I couldn't even accomplish in school! It was very intense!

Maybe you just dreamed that you were speaking fluent spanish, but really you were just talking a load of crap. Or can you remember specific statements and words that you said in the dream?

Yes, I had a dream once where an (extremely hot) girl from my german-education video was speaking to me in german and I was responding fluidly.

I later realized that I was speaking pure gibberish though.

Alot of my dreams are in partial german, but when I translate them they make little sense.

"Mein haus ist deine gebaude!"- my most fluent german phrase in a dream, which translated means something like, "My house is your building"...which doesnt make much sense.

I listen to a classical music station as I sleep and a lot of times the music seeps into my dreams.
I remember one dream not too long ago when I was on stage singing Con Te Partiro With Andrea Bocelli. I sang it in an entirely different language along with him.
In the dream I also understood what I was singing. But upon awakening I couldn't remember what thought the lyrics meant.

Funny how the mind can trick you like that.

Makes sense to me. Kinda like "Me Casa Es Su Casa". Have you talked with a German to see if it is a common expression.
