I have three huge problems that have been slowing down my LDing efforts. My first one, mind wandering. I need to mind to wander to fall asleep, which pretty much limits MILD, VILD, FILD, Auto-Suggestion, and everything else except POSSIBLY WILD. My second one, lack of control. It took me I think until my 19th lucid dream to summon something as basic as a Mario 64 Wing Cap (and I couldn't even fly with it!!&#33. And the third one, was the vividness of my dreams. All of my dreams are blurry, unclear, dulled down, lack emotions, and lack full feeling of touching things. I tried 200mg of B6 in the morning before I fell back asleep, but all that did was nearly kill my recall for the rest of the night. Well, last night, I finally had a vivid dream, only a tiny bit less realistic than real life.

      (Lucid part is in blue).

I jumped in an airplane to take me to highschool. This is a recurring dream, probably because school is going to start soon. It did its usual round, swerving in the skies and nearly hitting my legs on cars. I was going into highschool and I saw my brother. He said he needed to stay at my school until 11 AM when my mom would pick him up. I was in a huge lineup for some reason, and I saw this kid with a HUGE backpack run really fast across the hallway.
The dream scene switched and I was outside in darkness, in a mostly empty field. There was a crowded road behind me. I walked a little, and then half-spontanously realized I was dreaming. I stared straight ahead into the (like usual) unvivid darkness, and I saw some lights (unlike before). I tried to concentrate on making this dream more vivid. Even though verbal commands never really worked for me, I yelled "INCREASE CLARITY" which was the first thing that popped into my head. My vision blurred, so all I saw was black and faded red and yellow. (The lights were red and yellow). But then.... it went back to normal except more vivid then before! It still had a long way to go before reaching life like, but it was still pretty amazing. I tried to look at my hands, because of the thread by moonbeam about why her hands looked so screwed up in her dream. My hands looked completly normal, except when I looked at them my entire view changed into letterbox format (like the anime-part of the south park episode Good Times With Weapons). I looked away, and it was back to normal vision. I tried it one more time, and again it was letterbox format.
Again, the dreamscene changed, this time to my house. Out of total curiosity (no, I do not know why I thought this way) I wanted to try to slap my dad and see what he would do, since it was a dream. I went to the couch, and my brother was both on the left side and the right side! I figured my dad was supposed to be the one on the left, so I tried to imagine my brother turning into my dad. It didn't really work. Luckily, my dad (well he sort of looked like my dad) walked through the door, so I slapped him (I still don't know why I'd do something like that). He spit a bit but looked almost as if nothing happened. Then, I was suddenly up the stairs. I ran down, and I actually felt wind, and the stairs felt nearly real (although I coudln't feel my feet touch the stairs). It was cool. I was walking to the hallway when I woke up.

So I was pretty happy when I woke up. Of course, it was early so I went back to sleep....

All of this came after my failed FILD/WILD attempt.

I'm glad you were finally able to begin to benifit from all this. That letter-box thing is interesting. Also, I noticed you said your hands looked basically normal. That's really different because I've heard many people say their hands look different in dreams. I finally remembered to look at my hands in a lucid dream the other night, and they looked normal except I could see through them most of the way.

Nice dream, it's funny you slapped your dad just because you could.
