For about two years now I haven't been able to fly anymore in my lucids. It had really been bugging me, so a few nights ago I decided I would figure out once and for all.

So I became lucid (just by chance, like all my lucids) and tried to fly the way I usually would. I concentrated on forcing my body forward and through the air, and imagined me rocketing along at incredible speeds... it didn't work, as per usual. But then my dream guide appeared for the first time. He didn't say anything in the form of words, but transmitted thoughts to me. He basically said to relax. Stop trying to tense up and think of fast speeds and shooting into the distance. He said be patient, and float in the air at first. So I put my arms out as if on a table, slight bent them at the elbows and just relaxed and thought about floating. My legs lifted up and soon I was floating above the ground with my body horizontal. Then I sloooowly, in the same position, moved around a bit. It was still floating, and that's what I was concentrating on. After a lot of practice at staying relaxed and being supported by the air, I could zoom around with ease. It wasn't the form of flying I had visualised at first, but I was moving aroung at high speed which was close enough!

So there you have it. I don't know if it will help anyone, we're all different. I thought I'd share it anyway!
