      Hurray! My first HILD!

Anyway, the lucid dream was going alright, I still couldn't play god or fly, but that was alright. Anyway, I started walking to a corridor in my house. When I opened the door, there was pure darkness ahead of me.

Suddenly, thoughts of zombies and that Linda Blair character from the excorcist came across my mind, and knowing so much about dreams, I knew they would appear. I started to get real scared, and I heard footsteps in front of me, so I ran back to the room I was in before and yelled WAKE UP!!! WAKE UP!!!

Just as "one of them" was turning the corner into the room I was in, I woke up. Well, kind of, it was a false awakening, and I knew it as soon as I woke up, but I didn't dare move in case I came across another zombie... then I woke up for real.

Any helpful hints on what I could have done? This is only my 6th lucid dream, so should I have met the zombies? Please note, I knew that I couldn't be hurt in my dreams, but I got real scared anyway. Also, my dreams are always very vivid/ life like, so =I knew that a zombie would have looked... well, I don't wanna describe it.

Anyone else have zombie dreams? ~Stoat

Dude! I always dream about zombies...i mean, AlWAYS! I usually just manifest a gun and blast them. Crazy guns, flamethrowers and rocket launchers...whatever.

If that doesnt' work, then weird sexual things happen. UGH! I don't know why they always keep popping up in my head like that. hmmm. Although I use them now as dream signs, so it's turned out to be quite useful.

Personally, I'd have tried a chainsaw. Why would you want to wake up? There's always good times to be had when zombies are involved!

just shout out gone or somthing and they should just dissappear and dont be scared that is one of the main reasons they ruined your dream just ignore them and they will go away

Just "remember" that you're the zombie witch doctor and all the zombies are your slaves. Then you can smack them upside the head and tell them to go back to their hole.

When the zombies come up to you and try to kill you, just be all like "In your dreams, pal!" and they will all die from the terrible pun.

HAHAHA, lol, I watched that video!

Yeah, next time I am gonna let them come, and even though I absolutely suck at making things appear, Ill whack em, in fact, I might let them eat me

Freefire- the butterflies will probably end up as zombies too

I like that chainsaw idea... in fact, when I get better at making lucids, I might make one of em a silent hill type one, and I'm stuck in a mansion full of undead mushrooms with poisoned spores.

Neil- That would be funny. All the zombies come up to me, then they suddenly stop and one says "uhhh... where did you leave the remote?"

Now I really want a lucid dream with zombies! Thanks! ~Stoat

Ah, man. Zombies?? Consider yourself lucky. Haha.

I'm usually fighting things like dragons, demons, magicians, martial artists, gunfighters and all kinds of shit that make you have to actually think quickly in my lucid dreams. Would I would DO to a room full of Zombies!! Lol.

I'd say, let them in. Let them surround you, slink back into a corner like some cowardly, tasty little peice of "FrreesShBrAaaAainnnsss.." maybe even let them get a few bites, then, imagine yourself a nice pair of katanas, let out your best Bruce Lee kia and WHOOP ASS.

      Dear Stuart,

You are too inordinately afraid. You KNOW it is a Dream, and yet you are still afraid. What exactly is it that you are afraid of... in a DREAM?

You cannot die in a dream, not permanently. And if you do die, then it is a Good Thing, if you can stay in the dream long enough to come alive again -- this teaches the Dream Persona that it REALLY has nothing to be afraid of.

But you are so afraid, I doubt whether you could ever summon the stability required to lay dead quietly without waking up from the Dream and ruining everything... wasting a perfectly good Death.

Now, as for the contents of your Dream. You are not the only one in your Family with problems. Apparently in the very heart of your House is a pitch black chamber of horrors full of zombies -- lifeless automatons prone to flesh eating and violence. Who is this supposed to describe? Mum? Dad? Or do you have an Uncle Bob living up in the attic who everybody is afraid of. What makes your Family (of which the House is a Symbol) so extremely dysfunctional?

Maybe it is just yourself. Did you see any Zombies or just Darkness? Darkness may only be referring to a grand ignorance. There is something about your Family you have no idea of. Not necessarily because nobody had told you, but simply because everyone is waiting for you to figure it out on your own... and if you never catch on, then everyone supposes you simply don't care.

Maybe your adopted. It is good everyone else knows. That way your extreme cowardice does not reflect awkwardly on the rest of the Family, while everyone wonders how your real mother and father had ever summoned the courage necessary to reproduce. When they went into that dark room, weren't they afraid of ghosts?

Well, I saw only darkness, but my thoughts of Zombies came so great that I knewthey would come. When I was in the first room again, I could hear them coming, making zombie noises that zombies usually make in movies, games and such.

As for the katanas, I prefer lightsabers

And what particular advantage does a lightsaber have for a terrified frady-cat.

It seems that by the way you describe yourself, you would be too paralyzed with fear to put any weapon to much application.

Oh, excuse me, you were not too paralyzed with fear to run away.

So how would you use this lightsaber. Would you poke it up your Ass so that it would stab any Zombie swift enough to catch up to you as you run away?

No, I would poke it up your ass, Leo.

Besides, lightsabers would smash katanas anyday.
Besides, I wasn't paralysed. I never get paralysed when scared. I was nervous!!! Note the distinction between the two words:

      Ner-vous~~~~~Pa-ra~lysed.

Not too similar are they? One has 2 syllabuls, the other has 3.

Now, let's take this to a lucid dream - you're supposedly GOD (now to think of it what religion are you? )
and I am a scared frady-cat with a lightsaber. You have a katana, and you're whooping it around japanese-samurai style. You have a long sword and confidence. Me on the other hand am scared but have the force (edit: comes with lightsaber pack), and due to andrenaline, power levels are tripled. Who do you think wins, ****head?

I have deliberately attacked you, as you seem to attack anybody you come across. You seem to have good days, and loads of bad ones. You're probably on drugs for all I care. Stop taking em, will ya?

      I rest my case. ~Stoat

Well I feel it's only right to defend the humble katana, in this instance.

Granted, I love the glow and hum of a lightsaber as much as the next man, but a lightsaber doesn't "come with" the force. That's a completely separate concept. A lightsaber (or two) means nothing in the hands of the inexperienced, when compared to a seasoned professional with dual katanas. Sure, they can slice through anything, which is a plus, but they are also lacking One Major thing:

      The BLOOD.

People hacked up with lightsabers don't bleed. Neither do zombies, for that matter. The blood clots instantly because of the heat. I mean...where's the fun in that??

Besides, "The Force" take focus, concentration, and confidence. (Especially in dreams. Try it.) So good luck pulling it off unless you can get your fear in check.

hahah i had a very similar experience, during a lucid dream i ran up a road which eventually forked into two different paths one was a huge steep hill the other was just sort of ..... normal... anywayz i began to think about what i usually happens in my dreams...ZOMBIES! shit shit shit i shouldnt of thought of that because i knew the second it came into my head they would appear, and of course , they did.
Groaning and screaming they swarmed from the normal path, Run Gez RUN!!!! no....infact....FLY!!!! i took a leap of faith and glided over the steep hill untill the ground got closer and closer until i was skidding down the hill and then i woke up

For one thing, the zombies won't appear just because they came to mind. The appeared because you were scared about them coming after you. It is easy to banish them if you are calm, or if you still have issues, get out of there by dream spinning.

Hey, once you get good at fighting zombies, why not try eating them?

Glorfindel III, I totally agree with you, so you are awesome...
but not as awesome as SKA. But still awesome.

Hmmm... dead rising... isn't that an x-box game? (says x-box with a look of disgust because of patriotism for playstation and nintendo...)

I can't kick that high... even in the dream state, i'd probably brake my leg, or something worse... (no, don't give that look, I was talking about my... lungs... yes... my lungs).

Katana..... well, I take my dream scenario back. Leo is an old frail man, and I am still scared, but this time the zombies are on my side! And then we will start eating LEO... MWAHAHA.

Sorry for that. Good zombie dreams!
