Lol I was in a lucid dream and I knew I was in a dream. I also had a decent amount of controll there. Then to test if I was dreaming I told myself to wake up.... then I did. Lol >.< that wasnt smart lol As soon as I woke up I realized my mistake lol lol I need to remember that theres better ways to tell your in a dream lol. In the dream I made a box on my tv float to me and change from a box to a box of popcorn to a wooden tablet lol I wish I wasn't so stupid and woke myself up to test if I was really lucid dreaming lol

It happens to the best of us, man. It sucks, but you've gotta crawl before you can walk, right? Don't worry. You'll have plenty more chances.

Yeah, that sucks. I woke up virtually straight away on my first LD too. It was excitement/shock that did it for me though, it wasn't intentional.

And we all think less clearly in lucid dreams (I think) so that's nothing to worry about either.

Yeah, one time I went lucid and I realised the best thing to do is wake up so I can write it in my journal. I was just so focused on having that lucid dream that I didn't think about what I would do, though I'd had lucids before.

haha, well that is rather funny, yet frustrating (for you).

But on the bright side: I doubt it will happen again. And I guess it could be worse. You could test to see if you were dreaming by summoning barbara streisand
