Thread: First Lucid Dream

It was a saturday night, a huge party was going on but i couldnt go because I had to go to work early. I went to bed pissed. In my dream I was at the party and it was huge, I was panicking though becuase I had to get up and go to work, and the party was forever from my work. I also didnt remember how I got to the party, I didnt remeber much of anything except for the fact that I was sitting on a couch at this party. I thought to myself... How the fuck did i get here... and then i remembered how pissed I was all day about not being able to go and I realized..." Hey, I must be dreaming" I RC'ed myself and I could breath out my finger tips.

I was almost in shock that i had accomplished this rather than excited, I tried to fly... didnt work
I tried to summon up a fireball... didnt work
I tried to change the scenery... didnt work

I figured... ill just go outside and try to fly, I saw a door at the end of the party.. i walked towards it, it seemed to take me forever to actually reach the door, I opened it and instead of terrain it was just an incredibly bright light everywhere... The thought ran through my head..." Am i having a lucid dream or did I die?"

I stepped into the light and I woke up, The light was still on in my room and my book had fallen onto the floor, It was 4 a.m.

I had another wierd dream after this, not lucid

Thats really great that you finally became lucid. Next time, you should try things to intensify your lucidity, like rubbing your hands together really fast and feeling the heat, or study your hand really intently. There are posts on here somewhere that tell you how to have a more vivid LD. The more vivid it is, the more it can be under control and you will be able to fly and do other really awesome things that you try to do.

Hah! Nice experience, I'd do anything for something along those lines.
