Right, last night I had my 4th and 5th lucid dream since I started trying 3/4 weeks ago (the second and third came on the same night as well, I wonder why), and I've got a question about them.

The dream lasted about 4/5 minutes, and I KNOW that I was lucid at the begining, although I think I might have lost it as the dream when on, and it just turned into a normal dream (albeit with me having superpowers). What I want to know is, is there a way to keep yourself lucid easily, or is it just a case of practise - keep reminding yourself you're dreaming and doing RC?

      Cheers for all help.

I think I didn't loose lucidity yet, but I read somewhere, that you can try saying "increase lucidity" and stuff like that. I read this on the lucid crossroads website. Maby spining, rubbing your hands together, flying (?)... things like that probably.

But the problem is I can do that sort of stuff, while thinking I'm aware of it, but I'm actaully not. Well, the flying, spining and hands thing at least.

You should take a minute or two to let the fact that you're dreaming soak in. Just remind yourself that you're dreaming before running off somewhere else - just to be distracted by something else in your dream that will cause you to lose your lucidity.

Hokai, cheers fot the advice, I'll try it next time.

I don't get excited when I first realise I'm LD, I can remain calm easily, but I don't think about the dream either - I just get on and do stuff, so I'll slow down next time and see what happens.

It will improve with time and practice. 4-5 minutes is actually pretty good.

      Cheers.

Although as I said, it might not have been that long. The dream lasted 4/5 minutes, although I don't think I was lucid for more than a minute or so...

      Gah!

Had another one last night, but lost lucidity after a short time, but kept dreaming. Must learn to stop and think!

I had a strange FA as well. I "woke up", but only opened my eyes a tiny bit, so everything was blurry, I tried to breath through my hands, and could so I knew I was still dreaming. But when I tried to get up and look around, my vision didn't change at all. It was like I was looking at a still, blurry image, yet I knew I was moving. In the end I just had to clsoe my eyes, which woke me back up.

2 days ago I had a FA to. But everything went so fast. I jumped outa bed. Looked in my closed, changed my clothes in seconds. A when i realised i was dreaming, I jumped out the window, but got stuck in the middle of the transition. The glass didn't broke.
