Thread: Going Through Mirror Cool!

Sounds neat, I should try that.

Recently in my dreams I have been drawn towards mirrors (before becoming lucid) so it shouldn't be that hard to find one.

stepping through a mirror is defenately on my to do list for lucid dreaming. i always thought that when i stepped through a mirror i would end up in this like magical enchanted kind of world. but i guess its your dream so you go where you think your going to go. ya!

There was alot of mystery surrounding the mirror on these forums and i was dying to try it for myself, one reason was because mirrors have always in any culture been considered as mystical objects or doorways to another world!

Yep, there's a large man-size mirror on the opposite end from the desk and dojo.

Walking through a mirror has been one of my long-time lucid goals. I usually don't remember to do it though, and the few times that I did remember, I couldn't find a mirror nearby.

I never crossed a mirror, I just managed to slam my face against one, maybe that'll teach me to put my hand in first next time. It's something I, for sure, look forward to do!

With what I pulled out of my pocket the other night, I assume a mirror should not be too hard to summon.

would water also work?

I love mirrors and walking through walls. You never know where you're gonna end up. I always go into another dream settings I always wondered if anyone ever walked through one and ended up back in the same room.

I ended up in my old room where i was when i lived at home!

I dont think water would be the same because you know there is something behind the surface of water (underwater) but with a mirror you cant really go into it! like water!

I've gone through a mirror twice in lucids.

The first time, I ended up somekind of white void, with just a web of mostly red and some green colors. The second time, I ended up some black void, except I was being sucked by my head through some tunnel painfully fast with streaks of colors flying by.

They say that if you expect somthing bad to happen it will just think to yourself im going to another world where i like on the other side of the mirror!!

Sometimes for me the mirror ends up is like a pool of liquid mercury when I walk through! Anyone else get this?

Mirrors seem to have a weird "watery" feel to them in loads of people's dreams.

The best way to go though a mirror is to start running at it, do a cartwheel then use the momentum of the cartwheel to do a double sumersault and end up going through the mirror feet first.

Oh, and don&#39;t think about getting stuck halfway through untill you&#39;re safely on the other side >.< You WILL end up stuck XD.

Well having a mirror stuck in your stomich shouldn&#39;t be that bad afterall xD

Well its not too bad at first, but then somebody will come along and see you sticking half out of the wall and it gets embarasing =P

Walking through a mirror is on my to do list, but a mirror is a rare sight in my dreams, have not ever seen one... yet.

Why not make one appear in your dream?

I can neve create one out of thin air. I have to close my eyes and picture it in a certain location and open my eyes to see it in front of me. I&#39;ve never been successful in creating a mirror out of nothing. I can create pretty much anything else but that is a feat.

I dove into a mirror in a LD and the surface of it was like mercury and it was cool to the touch. The shiney substance clung to and coated my body. When I was fully through I found myself swirling in a thick clearish liquid that I, for some unknown reason, thought was amneotic fluid.

Also, when i dove into the mirror my reflection simoltaneously dove out and I was afraid she was going to take off and leave me trapped in the mirror world. I lured her back to the mirror and pulled her into it so she couldn&#39;t leave me stranded.

It was an incredible experience and one I want to try again.

Sounds like a very INTERESTING dream and yeah i think i would be worried i would be left in the mirror&#33; good dream&#33;
