Mutating emoticons
Aaarrgghh! Emoticons and LD do not mix!!!!!!
Well, I've discovered something interesting, to me at least!!!
I was in a low level LD sometime around 2am this morning and found myself responding to a post.
I was trying to put in a bunch of emoticons using the pop-up window.
I would double click one to drop it into the message, then go look for another one.
When I clicked the next one, I noticed that the ones I had already dropped into the post had changed and were in different positions!!
I know this happens all the time with text, but this is the first time I've had the little smileys mutating and moving around on me!!

That is intresting Seeker. You mean that the smilies were just moving around the screen while you are looking at them?
Personally I never dream about online forums, though I spend enough time browsing them.

No, it was like the standard text thing. Every time I would look away and then look back, they had changed!

i've had that happen too. well sort of. i would open the emoticons window and click what i wanted... then i'd go back to the post and they wont be there.

Oh ok, I just brought that up because I have actually had text in books move and change right in front of my eyes in dreams before.
It'll be cool though, to see banana chase orange across the screen.
