In the last couple days I've had 3 lucid dreams(go me!). |

it's mentioned in other places, but you need to have the will to do it and you need to believe you can. |

[22:59] <Kaniaz> You basically did a massive shit on the rug of this IRC
[22:59] <Kaniaz> And called it a message
Congrats on a cool dream! If you can change the color of the sky and cause snow to melt, you will have no problems learning to fly! |
|
you must be the change you wish to see in the world...

Yeah, I've flown in both my LD's, and its completely natural... DBZ and Matrix are perfect examples, they will themselves to fly. I used both my wil as my body movement. I sort of move my body upwards, make some sort of stretching move, and I hove above the ground! |
|
One thing I really like about about lucid dreams is that you can't just realise you're dreaming and do everything. You actually have to find out how to do something, and then train with it. I took me two LDs before I figured out how to jump really high. |
|
Hmmm, the Matrix thing sounds like a good idea, cuz I'm seeming to have the same problems. But since I've been working on LDing with turorials and all I'm really making progress. Flying is the goal for tonight! |
|
Where am I again?
Well, a verbal command may help you fly better. |
|
Yeah It took me a while to do a Standing Still Burst off. I was really so used to running, you know building up speed and then taking off using my velocity to give myself hight and distance. Then I figured why not defy the laws because they don't exsist anyway. Plus I need a sure way to take off in flight quick to get away from my enemies when I usually play catch me if you can in my dreams. |
|
Usually I can just fly without having to think about it. Once I had a lucid dream where I couldn't seem to do it so I took a running start and that seemed to do the trick. Like everyone else has said, its all about believing you can. When I start to worry that I can't do something in my dreams, I can't. When I'm confident, I can. |
|
Tonight's the night. And it's going to happen again, and again. It has to happen.
I never really fly extremely fast or anything in my Lucid Dreams. And I know my brother has told me about taking flight from a stationary position but I find that so difficult. I mostly float around kinda like a Feather in the Wind. |
|
I can do the superman, but I much prefer my wings, because its not an act of will, its an act of nature. Not breaking any rules, if you consider being a dragon breaking the rules then I guess I break some =D. |

"A knight is sworn to valor.
His heart knows only virtue.
His blade defends the helpless.
His might upholds the weak.
His word speaks only truth.
His wrath undoes the wicked."
Impossible is only that which has yet to be imagined
Don't worry about it much.... just let it flow, it will come in time... |
|
Early Morning Moment,
A Glimpse of Joy,
But soon it's Over, and I return to Dust...
You could try picturing a force/energy field around and under you. Think that it's pushing you along instead of you yourself flying. |

I've had only one experience with flying. Basically I willed to fly and said "fly", and some force lifted me up. But it fades quickly, I had to say "fly" again. |
