Hey friends i had my first lucid dream experience this morning and it was great.(I bet all of you remember your first one ) I should note that I started a dream jurnal and thinking seriously aboud LD for about three days.

Tonight I had a prety good dream recall as I remembered 3 of them. After my third I woke up just a little and I thought to myself that I want to return because it was real fun( I was driving a race sports car wich I do in real life too...but only on my computer sadly) So I closed my eyes and concentrated on the dream and there I was again in that dream, but this time I realised I was dreaming and that triggered my lucidity. After I realised i'm in a lucid dream I decided to stop driving and just feel how it is...and boy I tell you it gives me a nice sensation as I'm only writing it. Anyway I didn't stay too long and decided it was time to get airborne. I said to myself "I'm lighter than air" and there it was, I was flying. Not too fast tough...After a bit I started flying in circles and that brought much clarity in my dream. I can't explain why I started spining because it wasn't a counscios thought. Then i saw a lake and try to do a dive. Here things did not turn as I wanted. When I entered the water it became very murky and I couldn't breathe. I think I actually felt my heavy breathing in real life too as my dream was going away. I did not want to end my dream that way so I said to myself that nothing can happen to me so it came back. After a bit of flying I woke up by some noise outside my house. I just opened my eyes, like I was never dreaming in the first place.

Sorry for this long story, but I never thought this was possible. I thank this site for bringing info about this amaizing skill. Now my big jouney begins. I can't wait to experiment new things!

      Happy dreaming!

Congrats Dreamsearcher on your first Lucid experience Feels pretty good doesn't it? Keep it up and there will be plenty to follow behind that one. Also keep your faith up in the dream I know sometimes if can feel so real that we loose focuse on the fact that some things cannot be attempted or just impossible thus the murky warter and not being able to breath under it. Great Recover by the way. Just keep your focuse in line and you will do just fine never forget that anything is possible.

Thank you Ne-yo! I sure learned something good from this experience, and that is to have faith in yourself and believe anything is posible in the dream world. And YEAH!!! it feels very good being in control. At first I was little scared but relaxed knowing nothing can happen to me. I just hope I'll have clearer dreams in the future.

Just to keep in mind also what I like to do is set up some sort of plan before I sleep for instance what I will do when I get lucid and follow through on it so you can keep your focuse up as well. You have a plan and you initiate the plan in the dreamworld, I rollerbladed on the side of a fence for miles in this huge city a couple of nights ago. I was defying gravity in all sorts of ways. Try some cool stuff like that and when you come out of it I really puts a smile on your face when you wake up. You'll see.

Great job on the first lucid. Hopefully you have many more Also..try and remember to do a reality check if at all you wake up. You might find you've had a false awakening and still be lucid
