Thread: FINALLY LUCID!!!!!

Finally, after nearly a month of strict dream recall and trying to bring up my reality check ability, I went lucid! Now I know this dream wasn't long or anywhere near where I want to be, but it is a start! It was only about 45 seconds or so long, but I remember it soooo clearly:

I was in at the top of white carpeted stairs, these stairs led down into a white room. I was just standing at the top of the stairs and started to walk down them, when suddenly I shouted "OH MY GOD I'M DREAMING!" This shocked and enlighted me, and I said, "I think I will fly down the stairs instead!" So I jumped, and went about 10 feet in the air and completely belly flopped on the ground. I didn't feel any pain nor did it wake me up, but I was startled and confused. I sat up and was going to try to teach myself the right way to fly when the dream started to fade. Everything got dark and I woke up kicking my legs.

This makes me so pumped, esspecially since last week I had a dream where I looked at a clock, then looked again, (of course it was a totally different time), and instead of catching that OBVIOUS dreamsign I tried to fix the damn clock! In my dream! I was very upset when I woke up. Well I guess I know now that it will happen if I want it to and I keep trying! I can only hope to have more!
