Last night i had my very first lucid experence. It didnt last long and it wasnt very vivid but its a start and it was a lot of fun. It was only about a minute but i manged to float and run superfast!

Congrats on the LD! Well done.

Once I realize I'm dreaming, before I do ANYTHING, I always lean up against a wall and take a few deep breaths to collect my thoughts and stabilize the dream. Some people like looking at their hands to increase lucidity or stabilization. Try some different things and see what works best for you.

Oh, and welcome to the forum!

      Congratulations on the LD!

And yup, I agree. Taking a moment to stop and focus on something helps bring the dream's details into focus. You have a much better chance of staying lucid, after that.
