Hey, I joined a while ago but I haven't tried to become lucid until about 2 weeks ago. I'm still pretty new at this stuff.
Okay, so I was traveling home from Illinois for the holidays and slept most of the way home. Once I got home I unpacked and then went to bed. As I was going to bed I played around with trying a wild. I think I fell asleep and when I woke up I was like in the middle of a wild. There was a loud buzzing in my hears. Soon I entered a dream where my dream body was falling off my bunk bed where my real body was sleeping. As I fell to the ground I remember thinking that I was in a dream and that I must be having a LD. First I tried to just get a grip on things. I remember thinking that things were like the Flintstones around me, even though I have never seen a flintstone episode in my life. I think I lost lucidity or something because my dream body started to return to my bed. As my dream body lay down on the bed I woke up. I was really excited and tried to get back into a dream again. I got the buzzing in my hears for a little bit but then it went away. I think I was just too excited. Anyway, interesting for my first LD sort of to be a wild.

Congrats that sounds like a LD, and having a WILD on the first one is even more impressive. If you get excited you usually lose control and start to wake up. Next time you might want to stabalize your by rubbing your hands.

I dont get a ringing when i WILD, i usually just see an enormous burst of light and when the light dies down, it looks like my eyes are open, when in reality i'm sleeping. THen i know i'm dreaming. (I've only been able to WILD and accidently put myself into sleep paralysis every now and then though, so i'm not too experienced)

My reason for posting was that the second time i WILD'ed i was starting to get excited and i remembered to spin around, i did it and it felt super frickin awesome, and i felt like i was getting a better grip on my dream, so try that as well as the rubbing together of your hands.
