Hi, I'm new to this forum, although I'm not entirely new to this whole 'Lucid' thing. I've only just found out about it when me and my friend were discussing about dreams. He said he dreamt about his teeth falling out (I swear to God I'll get to point of this ) so I've decided to search up the meaning of it, and on my way, I've found some information about Lucid dreaming. I was interested about it, because not only had it happened to me once when I was fourteen, but it happened when I was around six years old too.

When I was young, I used to have nightmares like every other kids, but I used to dream about this ghost who used to scare the crap out of me. It's kind of silly now, considering the ghost was like a floating sheet! But back then, it was the scariest thing in the world. I'd have this dream like once a week, and I would never look foward to sleeping.

But on my very last nightmare with this 'ghost', I've decided to confront it. I realised I was dreaming and asked the ghost why it was always haunting me. I can't really remember the rest, except that the ghost turned into a little girl called Emily and said she wantedto play with me. Ever since then, I never had those nightmares again.

As for when I lucid dream when I was fourteen, well, I was stood outside my house when for some reason I realised I was dreaming. I was really happy and decided to explore, humming away to myself, when I was being chased by something. I got so freaked out that I forced myself to wake up, but now I'm kicking myself for not doing anything about it!

Also, I think I almost had a WILD last night, but I started to panicked and forced myself to wake up. It's just that I felt my whole body froze (I was very relaxed) and couldn't move my arms, so I just made myself a wake again, and then I could move my hands again. It felt quite sniff, too.

Anyway, I'm 17 now and I'm hoping to try and lucid dream once again. For now, though, I'll just read the other people's experiences on this site.

Hi there, Steph Welcome to the forum!

Nice one on confronting your nightmare and conquering it! It usually works to start nightmares, but it's hard for people to actually attain lucidity in them to do so.

Enjoy your stay and let us know if you have any questions!
