I just had my first Lucid Dream last night and it was amazing! It was such an amazing feeling and such a great experience. I had so much fun and surprisingly it lasted a good hour. I dont know why i clicked in that i was dreaming but i did.

I think i should maybe post my dream journal now no?

In the dream I found myself sparring in a gym in Germany near what I guess was my home in that dream. I was throwing punches and kicks at air and my (biological) father was leaning against a wall watching me. In reality my father is the one who taught me and my friend Kevin Karate. Drops of sweat would fall and I would take quick breaths between punches and kicks. I finally stop and take a deep breath in then out and relax after a good 20-25 minutes of fighting. My father comes and stands beside me and we both stare foreward for what seemed like a full minute or two. The silence is then broken as he quickly steps foreward and thrusts his elbow backwards towards my face. I block and duck under getting in front of him and he takes two swings at me. I bend slightly back and to the right dodging the first and then to the left for the second. I lean forward again and grab a third punch. I twist his arm behind him flip with him and throw him to the ground breaking his arm and then give a strong but quick punch to the back of his head. I hear his skull crack and blood comes out of his mouth. I stood and looked down at his body and for some reason felt no remorse. I felt as if i was supposed to do that and that he was an enemy of some sort, or that perhaps i had done something similar before and was just used to it. Either way I didnt seem to care. I grab my jacket and put it on as i leave the gym.

The streets i walked out to looked familiar though i couldnt pin it. Some time during my walk which was actually totally normal I became lucid. It hit me hard too. I was just walking and then it hit me that I was dreaming. I stopped confused for a second and looked around then thought to myself wow. I smiled and continued my walk. I looked at my hands thinking of what I could do. I closed them into fists closed my eyes and imagined strength surging through them. I open my eyes and quickly turn and punch at the corner of a jagged brick building and just before my fist hits it the scene goes into slow motion for a few second and then exits again and the thick brick turns to dust. I look around and there are people standing startled and looking at me in awe.

I ran down the alley beside the building which actually turned out to be a large network of them. This actually took up the greater part of my dream out of sheer stupidity. I ran through the network of seemingly endless alleys for about 20 minutes then stopped and called my self an idiot. I stood straight, clenched my fists, closed my eyes and imagined the alley around me as an invisible force flew out from my body and destroyed the buildings around me. The scene enters slow motion again as the buildings fall apart and the rubble is visible. I again smile at myself as the rubble falls to the ground around me.

I walk to the street and stand in the middle of it and look to the sides. I turn to my right and had a weird feeling. I begin running down the straight street at incredible speed. It went straight for a good few hundred miles and I covered half of it in minutes. I stop about mid way just by instinct. I look around and spot my friend Kevin. Which I found weird for some reason. He slowly walked toward me and stopped as he got to the road. I felt a fight and wasnt dissapointed. He charged at me and swung and I jumped a good seven feet in the air and landed down behind him. I thrusted my elbows backwards and he blocked. We both turned around and began throwing punches. Blocking, Dodging and fists meeting. I threw a side kick to his head but he ducked it and then did a quick flip and hit me with two kicks. We both smiled and continued the fight. He took a swing and I moved to the side and then stomped/kicked his ankle and followed up with about 5 punches to the chest and gut and then gave a big one knocking him back a bit and stunning him. I grabed his left arm with mine and then charged up with my right and delivered an open palm punch to his gut knocking him back into a building. He went into the brick wall and I approached. As I reached it he stood from the rubble fast and hit me strongly back onto the street. A car came from the side and I jumped over it again in slow motion.

The fight still continued. I gave a right hook which he knocked away and then gave a good many hits to my face very quickly. He gave a triple side kick to my right and almost knocked me down. I regained balance and he gave me two good hits to my chin and then a spinning back kick while jumpinh to my face. I was down.

I roll to my side and push up with my forearms, struggling to get up. I cough up a bit of blood. He towers over me and I turn and look up. I think Im finished. I wonder to my self why cant I beat him? I mean in reality I can never beat him. Me and him always fight in real life like this and he always wins. I can come close but its rare that I ever beat him. I wondered this is my dream this is in my control so why cant I win?

He extended a hand and I gladly accepted. I stood and dusted myself off and we looked into each others eyes. I thought again why couldnt I win and then thought No this is my dream I CAN win. I focus all my strength energy power speed and everything into a punch and throw it. Before it makes contact i freeze. My gut starts to feel warm and then i feel a dull pain there. Kevin is still smiling. I look down at my gut where his hand is clutching and blood is dripping. He says You Lose releases his hand and then spinning back kicks me down. I look up to the sky and my vision dims to black. I wake up.

Wow, that was longer than i thought it would be. As you can see it was extremely detailed and vivid. I woke up and was extremely exicted and happy! I had a lucid dream and it was amazing. I was slightly disapointed though. Why couldnt I beat him? It was my dream my world and I had enough strength to fight an army. Why the hell couldnt I defeat him in MY world?

Overall it was an amazing experience. I loved it and the feeling was amazing. I was so pumped and had the biggest rush. I loved it!

Horray! So thats my first lucid dream. I hope to have many more!

Holy Crap Sarah thats amazing!! But see, Im just that good. I kick ass in your dreams too.

Thats an amazing dream, and Im impressed. You've only known about Lucid Dreaming for what? Two Weeks? I've known for over 4 months and havn't had anything yet. Congrats!

As for not being able to beat me in your dream, maybe its a sense of doubt in your abilities? Your an amazing fighter, and Im always telling you we're almost equals, but maybe the fact that its not often you win our fights has managed to subconsciously effect you which may explain why you couldnt win in the dream. I keep telling you don't worry about it. You're getting better fast, you'll likely be better than me soon enough. Just remember how close you've come most of the time and give it that little bit of extra effort.

Yes and no. It was really amazing. It felt so great not to be bound by the laws of this world it was great letting my imagination run wild. Im a little dissapointed I didnt try things like flying but the fight was amazing. It felt so natural and unnatural at the same time. It was quite the weird but cool experience.

Aparently it differs for everyone; me and my freind have been trying it together, and I've had six, one quite realistic, and he's had three, I think. I had my first a few days after learning, and he a week or so. It's just dfferent.
