Hello everyone! :] This site is incredible. Lucid dreaming is quite possibly the most interesting thing I've ever come across on the internet.

I found this site after recalling a dream I had over the summer ... I had been sitting in my French class, in my pajamas with my hair completely messed up. I realized I would never go to school like this; I must be dreaming. So after a few seconds of consideration of what to do, I decided to yell out, "GOD, this class is so f#@$ing BORING!" Ha ha ha, amazingly fun. For a second or two I thought, "whoa, I should try to fly," but then it went back to a normal dream... I wish I had known about lucid dreaming before so I could have tried to stay lucid! Oh well.

Anyone else ever found themselves lucid in school or work and done something scandalous you've always wished you could do?

Also, I was wondering if the fact that I lucid dreamt on my own, for over fifteen seconds, without knowing at all about the concept of lucid dreaming means I have a better chance of being able to harness it more easily? Or is it just a once-in-a-lifetime thing.

Having that one small lucid dream will help you a great deal. Now you know what it feels like and you have gotten over a barrier many people struggle with. After your first LD, you know what to feel for in your dreams and you can concentrate on getting the same feeling (of being lucid). Good Luck!

Congrats on the lucid. Well...now that you know that you've had one, and you can remember how it FELT to be lucid...I think that can aid you in trying to become lucid again. You became lucid through DILD, dream induced....meaning I think your best bet for becoming lucid will be to keep a dream journal, and find dream signs. You can read all about that in the dream signs forum. Since you were aware enough to realize, this isn't right....I must be dreaming....I bet you'll be able to use this to get lucid in the same way by identifying your dream signs.

And YES...I have DEFINITELY become lucid in class and done scandalous things...you can read about one such instance here...haha

IN my second lucid I was in school and realised I was LDing... I walked up to my English teacher and shouted at him then I ran into the kitchens and ran away from all the teachers and the kitchen staff trying to chase me... Except that it wasn't really fair cause I was running super fast- I made it that way- so they couldn't catch me .... hehehe....

Hahaha, I actually had a non-lucid dream where I was in my World History class, and for some reason I was in my pajamas and had a pillow on my desk. The teacher yelled at me, and I felt really embarrassed.

      I shoulda remembered I was dreaming. >_>
I can be a Lucid Master... In my dreams.
