My first lucid dream..and another unusual one. *UPDATED*

just wanted to share with you I had my first Lucid dream two nights ago. I was crossing the road outside my house and a car passed by me. I suddenly started reciting "its a dream, its a dream" As I realised it the car passing suddenly became so real! It was a ford focus, silver and i could even see the detail of the name badge, i felt the warmth from the sun, the colour in the spring leaves and it was GREAT! I walked along my road and thought, "im not going to try and fly I am going to be sophisticated and learn things from this experience" unfortunately i decided very quickly to try and fly....i took a deep breath and jumped, NOTHING happened it was like normal jumping1 i jumped several times up my drive to my house it didnt work and then the dream faded.

ah congratulations! when it starts to fade away, remember to either spin, look at your hands, or look at the ground so you can stay in the dream longer (im just speaking out of the book, i havent been able to try those yet )

There used to be a thread about that, feeling love in a dream...it was a great thread. In fact I will suggest it for the memorable threads!!!!!

About your first LD: Way to go man!!! You are making progress already. It is important you work on maintaining lucidity as long as you can for at least, if you don't have another lucid dream in a month, then you at least were able to make the best of your stay...

Don't worry, you will have many other chances to fly once you master the art of LD!!!

Edit: That last line was cool but OH so corny!!!!
      If I hadn't made me
I'd be more inclined to bow
Powers that be would have swallowed me up
But that's more than I can allow...

feeling love in a dream is nice until you wake up

Last night I had another Lucid dream which was very long, though unfortunately I didn't have full control it was hazy, I kept spinning and spinning and the scenes kept changing, the problem was I did nothing BUT spin, I started going crzy jumping onto concrete block keeping spinning....it felt like ages and was uncomfortable.
