      Weird experience

      Hey,

I had a weird sleep paralysis experience but with a twist.

I realised i was dreaming but my body was paralysed in the dream world aswell as the real world and thats not all.

I was fully lucid in my dream but was finding it extremely hard to open my eyes in the dream. I was also being held down by my sheets they were wrapped around my wrists. I could move my head tho so i looked at a clock cos some of you say how random the numbers are. So with alot of difficulty i open my eyes and look. 11.45 then 9.9 i thought thats pretty cool. Usually not being able to wake up or move in the dream state would freak me out but this time i was feeling calm.

Heres the twist......Still having trouble keeping my eyes open in the dream i just decided to keep them shut. When i did this i felt a presence in the room but then i thought Na. Then i was hit with the colour red. I felt something push my head into the pillow and lay on top of me. All my body went tingly. Im thinking to myself this is not your normal sleep paralysis or old hag experience. Really calmly i just said "who are you & what do you want" It got straight off me and left.

Has anyone had an experience like this b4? Or been paralysed in both dream and waking world? If you are confronted but negative shit in the dream world dose confronting it in a passive way usually work? Also is there a technique for waking up from sleep paralysis? I do have one i use but would be good to know others.

      Peace. Sensi.

You stayed calm. It seems to work a lot better than freaking out I had a dream about a huge werewolf like thing in a dream (not LD) and for some reason I didn't run and stayed calm, it killed me though

You must of sensed it was a dream and stayed calm but for some reason didn't become Lucid.

I think you are right. I think I sort of felt as if it was a dream but I didn't actually go lucid. I would of been close though.

i have had many where i cant keep my eyes open, it is so difficult. And often when i am lying there i sense a presence in the room. sometimes i think it is real and force myself to wake and theres no one there. but if i carry on the presence stays. only a couple of times have i managed to open my eys. but alot of the time i am dreaming i am awake as if everything is normal and i have woken up only once i really wake up do i know its a dream. i think i would realise it was a dream if everything wasnt so normal, just dreaming that i wake up in my bed.
one time i could hear screaming from a woman in my room and the presence of a man, but i was paralysed in bed. they were in my bedroom, i thought it was real. i forced my eyes to open and could see a man trying to kill a woman but i know i was dreaming when i knew i fell asleep at the otherside of my bed and should have been looking at the wall. but when i opened my eyes i wasnt. i closed my eyes again and forced myself to wake as i couldnt bear the screaming. i can fall back into it very easily!
