Thread: A Great Idea For Flying?

Hi, I'm new to the Forum.
After being interested for a few years in Lucid Dreams, I finally had my first one a few months ago, well I'm not technically sure it was "Lucid", more like dreaming I was Lucid, but still trying to do the things in my dream that I'd want to do if I really was lucid, sounds confusing, but anyway... I've been having quite a few of these now, probably about once a week, which is very good for me!

So I wanted to share this great dream I had the other night.

It started out where I was at home and I wasn't Lucid to start with. I was just at home watching TV and stuff, and for some reason a lot of people were round my house and my mum and dad were talking to them, I was just ignoring this because I wasn't that surprised they were there even though I didn't know them. Anyway, then I went upstairs and looked out of a window and saw all our garden was being dug up, and I think I went and asked my mum and dad about it, but they weren't really answering me. Then I got annoyed and thought "why is our garden being dug up without me knowing anything about it, and why aren't my mum and dad telling me anything?" Then I realised this was strange and so realised I could be dreaming!
Then for some reason everything was dark, and I tried to look at my hands to see if they would fade, or be distored for a reality check, but I couldn't see because it was dark, but I came to the conclusion that I was dreaming anyway.
Then I wanted to be somewhere else so I started spinning and imagining being in a different place, but I was still at home but it became light at least!
Then I decided I wanted to fly, so I went upstairs and sat outside my window on a ledge.
Now, I came up with this great idea for flying a few weeks ago when I was awake, I like flying in my dreams but sometimes I still get scared I'll fall if I try and fly off the roof or anything because I'm not that confident with it yet. So I thought, wouldn't it be great if I could ride on an animal that can fly! It'd be less scary because you would just trust that the animal could fly in the dream, so I thought about trying to make "Pegasus" appear from "Hercules", or alternatively the magic carpet from Aladdin! I couldn't wait to try out my idea in a dream.
So I was sat on this ledge and I just started calling "Pegasus!" (That's what I do when I try and make an object or anything appear, because I can never usually try and make anything appear visually)so I called it
and tried to imagine it coming from the sky, and then suddenly it was there and I was sat on it's back and flying high above the ground!
It was amazing, but then unfortunately I woke-up.
Anyway, so I just wanted to tell everyone about it, and I thought that if I can make "him" appear again I can ask him to take me somewhere, which might be easier than me trying to fly there myself, or imagine myself being there.
What dya all think? I thought it could help people who are nervous or can't seem to fly in a dream, that's if you can make a flying animal appear of course! But I managed to, so I'm sure anyone else could.
