2 False Awakenings - at the worst possible time!

I went to Vegas in January 2004. On the plane trip there, I was sitting by the window overlooking the wing. I dont normally sleep very well on planes due to the cramped leg room but somehow I did. In my dream, I was unaware I was dreaming and it was of me on the plane. To my right was my friend, Pete, as he was before I fell asleep. The plane was coming in to land and it was coming in fast. I said to Pete "We're coming in fast dont you think" and he said "ummm". We were and we hit the runway hard. At which time I awoke and I was sitting in my seat, and was quite relieved it was a dream.

Little did I know that it was a false awakening and the plane was coming in to land again. Yet again, we were coming down too fast. I repeated to Pete what I had said earlier and he replied again. This time we hit the runway hard and started to veer off it over the grass and everything. Then I woke up again. Again...it was a false awakening and the same bloody dream happened again, for the 3rd time. I was so shocked!

Its at this point I woke up and we were no where near landing. In fact we had hours left and were 35,000 feet high, and thank God, it was a real awakening this time. I hadnt done any RC's as I never used to before I found this site, but I really wish I had have!

Needless to say I was a bit nervous when we really came into land, but it went smoothly. And VEGAS rocks - 4th time there and I just love the place
Lucid at least once a week, mainly on weekends.

I relive things a lot in my dreams, too. I once dreamed I was in a battle, and a tidal wave came over everyone and washed away the castle (which was, of course, made of sand) The castle was destroyed, but after the wave hit, the dream would start all over again and the wave would come again and the castle would be destroyed again. When I woke up, i thought the dream had been a recurring dream from a different night, but realized they had all recurred in one night. lol

That's when I kick myself because it seems like the perfect time to go lucid...
