LDing my way into the novel that I was reading IRL was remarkably cool. I was amazed that my brain could create the characters and setting in such vivid detail. I told one of the characters that I was just walking around in a dream body and that my real one was at home in bed. He was like, "oh, alright. That happens."

Subtle things like that are way more fun for me than blowing up contients or whatnot. I have to dream myself into more books.

So far, the coolest thing I've done in a lucid dream is marvel over the fact that I'm conscious at the exact moment and realizing it as it goes, not all at once when I awake. I had been waiting to feel that for years...

Still, the most epic six seconds I have ever experienced...

Growing a penis Well. Maybe that's not the coolest thing really, haha. My first really vivid LD was amazingly cool since it had such strong realism; I didn't do much other than fly around and say random things in French though...

Are you having a holy moment?

So I have to ask: do you know much French in waking life? It would be very cool if you didn't and your brain was making up French-sounding things in your dreams.

Dang! Still, that's cool. Maybe in my next lucid, I'll break out my rusty French and see how much I can get across to my DCs. I remember once listening to a DC talk in Gaelic, of which I know very little, and just magically 'construing' his meaning.

Hehe. That's dreams for you, though. It's not very hard to read minds when the mind you're reading is your own!

Flung objects telekineticly in an Elebits-themed dream. I also had this weird power that let me make all of the objects I had flung float really close to me, then suddenly 'explode' away from me in a violent hurricane of random objects on the street(fences and hedges).

I became lucid, but then I woke up... >>

Flying. Definitely flying. In addition, telekinesis was cool.

Adepticus, I've got to try that... I love the Hulk.

2 things that come to mind are flying (of course) and one time I put my hand up to this tiny TV and it went electrically berserk and flared up and I felt this strong tingle/vibration on my hand. so cool.

I turned into a superhero I had made up in RL and grabbed Magneto, causing him to explode like an atomic bomb. Except it wasn't vivid at all, and I was practically watching my body from the sidelines and thinking "What should I do next?" For this reason I think of it as lucid even though I don't remember it really sinking in that I was dreaming. I just kinda accepted the fact, shut down my subconscious and had me a daydream.

My other two lucid dreams involved levitating two yards into the air and rubbing my hands together mischievously, respectively (I woke up before carrying out my plans in the second one). I don't have a very long record to choose from.
Ten years without a dream, now starting almost from scratch.

We're messing with our bodies on a very low level here - can we break them? What will it take to hurt ourselves?

A little nonsense now and then is relished by the wisest men.
