So I just woke up from my first real lucid dream-and it felt really amazing. Ive been trying to have WILDs for a few weeks but it only worked the first night, and the dream lasted 2 seconds and was very blurry. However, I have been successful in entering sleep paralysis anytime I want and going back and forth between dreams and reality while trying to WILD-the only issue is that I haven't managed to go totally lucid yet. I've also been practicing the hand RC and the nose RC. However, last night, I went to bed late-(around 4), and woke up at 10 to my roomate talking on the phone(he woke me up). This turned out to be a blessing in disguise. When I went back to sleep I had great conditions to go lucid-I didn't try to WILD and just dozed off.
Then I was dreaming-I remember messing with a huge stereo system, and then strangely enough worrying about a cobra attack. So I consulted my cobra attack book for things I could do to stop it, and saw an attack that used my hand-then it occured to me that using this attack would be useful because I could do a hand RC while doing it-so I put up my hand, and my thumb was glued to my index finger. I went lucid. I continued with my anti snake attack by shooting energy out of my hand-it looked like a solid stream of brown static. Then I did a triple jump mario 64 style and yelled out "yohoo, i'm lucid" Then I realized that this was a bad idea because getting excited might wake me. I was back in my room now, in my bed. I jumped out and tried to hop into flight-however, I began to fade as I did this, so I started spinning and clapping my hands at the same time to remain lucid-(in retrospect I realize that I was supposed to rub my hands together) I became more and more transparent, until I awoke in my room again. I sat up, looked over at my roomate's bed, and excitedly told him that I had gone lucid. However, his sheets were green and had flowers on them, and he didn't move from under them. Then I woke up AGAIN, this time for real. This goes to show that I should always do a hand or nose RC when I wake from a lucid, just in case.
Anyways, I thought I would share-The dream was very vivid and felt great. I'm going to keep on working on this and will post as time progresses.
