Ok let me start off by saying that ive had lucid dreams before, but either i tried moving to fast with them and losing them, well yea thats the main reason ive always lost them, lol.

Anyway though, its about 4:30 in the afternoon and I go lay down in my mom and dads room to take a nap, and as im drifting off to sleep i noticed that things are going like when you use the wake back to bed method so i start dreaming and i realize this is a dream. I go my usual ways and try moving to fast and i lost it, or so i thought. So I wake up go down stairs and see a white blazer i have never seen before parked in my yard, not in my driveway, so I go out and my dad is already out there talking to the guy about fixing my garage roof, i then look to my driveway which is about 5 feet from where the blazer is parked to see that a van appeared with guys coming out to work on the roof, up to this point I still have yet to realize that im dreaming, until my mom pulls up in the exact same car as my dad, but my dads is already parked in the driveway, this throws up a red flag. (something eventually bad happened in this dream but i can't seem to remember) I realize i am dreaming and I lose it again.

I wake up in my mom and dads room, walk down stairs only to go outside and see a white blazer parked in my driveway this time, i tell my mom that i just had a dream about this and that I can tell the future and I tell her something bad is going to happen to my dad, so we panic and run to her car where we drive off. I don't recall much of what happens after that but all i know is that i wake up back in my mom and dads room thinking that ive lost my dream.

This time though, i was not going to be fooled, as soon as i wake up i look into a mirror, and when i look into the mirror I see my mom dresser drawer's reflected back at me, which is impossible because the dresser sits right below the mirror, So i realize i am dreaming, but the thing is is that I knew i had to wake up for baseball practice so I keep telling myself to wake up.

So I wake up again from my mom and dad's and im still dreaming, i see the same reflection in the mirror, but i couldnt believe i was still dreaming so i dive over the dresser and punch the mirror, only to have my fist go straight through.

Now, at this point im getting mad, and scared and i keep telling myself to wake up for baseball practice, I end up waking up again in the same spot in a dream, so i start screaming, my mom comes running up to me I tell her whats going on, and then finally I somehow manage to wake myself up, it might have been after I woke up in the dream again though.

Anyway though, im sure some people have had stranger things happen to them in dreams and better stories to tell, but this is by far the best dream experience and I just wanted to share it with yous and get it written down somewhere so I don't forget.

That's one hell of a false awakening experience... a lucid one to boot. At least you realised you were dreaming... I had a FA dream in which I 'woke' up to a normal day of school... that dream really messed me up in the morning, since my head kept thinking it was a Thursday, even though it was a Wednesday...

False awakenings really can suck, and you've just basically had a rough crash course on it. I can't say I've had any as strange as that, more like more frustrating than that. I can't say I've ever gotten scared when I became lucid from them, so much as pissed. No, I take that back, I've been scared before, I had a FA and a shadow was at the foot of my bed, I can't really remember what I did after that but it was some pretty weird stuff that scared me awake... Hope you don't have more FAs like those but at least on the bright side it'll make you much more aware of whether you're dreaming or not [since you naturally did quite a few reality checks]

I wish you many more, hopefully not as scary lucid dreams [fears of not waking up can be pretty intense]

Yea thats what really got me, I was trying so hard just to wake up, but I would just wake up in the dream as if stuck in a loop.

and even though it was a bit scary, the thing is it is a lucid dream and they are always positive experiences to me, even if bad. It was good though because it was the first time I used the mirror reality check succesfully and when i started losing my dream at one point I was able to look at my hands and keep it for the first time too, so its definitely a step in the right direction for me.

Good job. Everytime I have tried the hand reality check in dream, it always works for me.

Once as a young child i had a FA but it wasn't lucid, I woke in my dream in my bed "don"t ask me why" got out of bed, opened my window and jumped out "mind you, i believe i was on the 10th floor of a building", just as i was about to hit the ground, I woke up and repeated this action 3 to 4 times until the last time I opened the window, but this time was different I didn't jump out, LOL luckly for me cause that time i wasn't sleeping

Wow, that's kind of scary in a sense because if you couldn't tell that you were really awake that last tiem, jumping might not have been the best way to end your day...
