Was this the beginning of a wild? (updated need tips)

Last night as i went to bed at 11:30 i just laid on my back with my arms over my head (trying a new technique to become lucid). but i can't sleep when i stay still so i was just laying there with my eyes closed for ages, then i swear i heard a bird tweeting, from then on either i imagined hearing the bird or i could just hear it, i cant fully remember as it now seems faded. after a while i was sure i saw colours in the corners of my eyes, i began to concentrate on my breathing and felt my hands inbetween my toes, but then i realised that my hands were still above my head. after that i lost concentration and went to sleep normally. was this the beginning of a wild or just my mind playing tricks on me?

Well your mind plays tricks on you when you start to fall asleep. So yea it is the beginning of a wild.

Yes, that was hypnogogic imagery among other things. If you could have held it for a little while longer, the vibrations should have started.

Yeah. HI is when you see swirls of color or random images in front of you. Sounds another aspect of HI and the beginning of a WILD.

So that is HI that I see I was wondering about that.
And was that an accidental WILD I had? A vision of a doorway and a instinct to wak thru into an LD. I was not atempting anything at the time.
I saw no vorxet and felt no sleep paralysis, just HI, the doorway and then I was thru into an LD.
how would you class this experience?
I've been so lazy - someone kick me.

this morning it happened again, i was just lying in bed at about 7 thinking about anything then suddenly a firework sort of thing appeared made up of yellow and red circles. my whole body went tingly which was scary at first but then it became comfortable, i think i may have been paralyzed, im not sure but when i realised it was a wild i lost concentration.

anyone have any tips for keeping concentration and having a wild quicker

well i gotsa few tips for wilds/lds and a few questions.

      1. I find wakin up after 5-6 hours o sleep and then stayin up for half hour wrks real well(not my invention lol). Ive had all 3 of my lucid dreams like that. Also, drinkin sumthin or eatin sumthin with caffine helps.
      2. once the vibrations start in a wild, what happens after that? ive never got past the vibrations, and ive just eventually gave up several times, so ive never had a wild.

i think after the vibrations start in a wild solid shapes appear and you slowly move from being concious into an ld.

would you reccomend having caffiene when i wake up after 5-6 hrs of sleep or just before i first go to sleep

I've had 5 WILDS in since last thursday, so in the past 7 days. I think i might have a natural talent for it, just never new I did until now. I sleep about 5-6 hrs like everyone else, and wake up and either read posts on here, or read a dreaming book while awake, and maybe drink a lil something.. Maybe a 1/4th of a can of soda, no more for me. Also take melatonin at night before bed. sometimes it takes me a while while going back to bed before i start to LD but i always get there. I can start to feel my physical body and my dream body seperate from each other. Today while I was falling asleep I was moving my dream body like I was running and the image of my arms moving out in front of me got clearer and clearer in the blackness of my eyes until I could see my arms in the dream and became Lucid. The other day swaying my "head" back n forth, it was more of a sensation of moving it back n forth, and it helped me move into lucidity. I can basically do this every morning if I wanted to, but the past few days i've been too tired to get up and try. ONly problem is they are pretty short, and I wake back up easily.
