Thread: Transcendental Semi-LD

Of late, I've been preparing for my exams at University, so I haven't been thinking much about lucid dreaming for the past few weeks. I also recently stopped taking all of my supplements, since it seems that they were upsetting my stomach. Suddenly, my dreams became a great deal more vivid, and I wake up after each one in the morning, and can sometimes re-enter them.

So this morning, I woke up, it was around 5 A.M., and I rolled over, and went back to sleep. What follows is the dream, in the most detail I can recall. In the Dreamviews tradition, the possibly lucid bit is highlighted in blue:

I'm standing in the yard. The sky is darkly overcast, and the clouds are roiling. Now I'm inside, watching the clouds from the window, talking to a friend of mine. I begin to notice an odd swirling pattern in the clouds. My friend and I head outside to have a look, and see that the swirl is speeding up, and that the clouds at the center of it are descending towards the ground. My first thought is that it's a tornado, but suddenly, a huge hole appears in the clouds, piercing upwards all the way up to the stratosphere. It's like the eye of a hurricane: I can see all the way up to the top of the sky. The walls of the hole in the clouds are very beautiful, and I suddenly want to rise up and be among them. I allow myself to be lifted by the wind. I go flying up, as does my friend. We're hurtling up and up, until we're looking down on the hole in the clouds. Then, we're looking down on the earth from quite far away. Now, I attempt to make a similar hole in the entire universe, to fly free of time and space, but I wake up.
