Computer Game Dreams

Dreams where you're both playing and being the character in a computer game. Basically imagine it being like virtual reality games of the future. It may be a game that exists but altered by dream or a game that your mind simply made up. It might even have health bar and inventory on the "screen". It may even look like everything is animated, with 3d rendering and sprites. Anyone? If so, please tell me some of your experiences with these "computer game dreams".

Ok umm.. you can't really call it a computer game dream well i guess you can but it was for the xbox. well any way this is what happened. I was playing that game sonic heroes and i was playing with my friend but he keep beating. so i was playing as team dark and the leadr shadow turned around and poineted at me and said he was going to kill me. then he turned around and contined to be in the game. freaky. This contined for two more nights until one dream he actually came out of the tv screen and beat me to death. That was the first time i had ever died in a dream... freaky...

I have them all the time, and it won't even be a complete theme... I'll just shift from a normal scene to something game-like and back after a few minutes. The game portion is a regular part of the story.

You've been playing that game too much, it's seeped into your subconscious. Take a few days off and you'll get back to normal dreams.

I sometimes have dreams where I am in the game or movie that I really want to get/see One time I was in a Perfect Dark movie!

A couple of times... one based on the game FEAR and the other on Day of Defeat: Source... the former being bloody scary stuff, and the latter being quite fun (though I kept getting killed and respawning). Had them a while ago, but since I can't be bothered to describe them, I just post this link to my journal post with the specific dream descriptions.

haha i had lots of those, but just playing in the game normally. recently i dreamed i play dota with a friend... nothing special. in an other dream where i somehow reach the usa and have a one time chance to play a once considered pro SSB:M player... well i play versus him. but i didnt have my own controller so it felt really hard to play (it shouldnt matter THAT much, i guess because it was a dream)

I've had plenty of game related dreams. The best out of all of them is probably playing an MMO. You jump around and destroy things you shouldn't be able to do. jump up on enemies and slit thier throats for an instant kill... put on items you shouldn't be able to... "screw you game! I'm putting this on if you like it or not."

I got to be Master Chief in one of my dreams (non lucid) and it was awesome but that was the point that I decided I was playing far too much halo 2.

I've not had one but i definately intend to have a lucid dream with me being in the world of one of the final fantasy games with the characters from the games, it will be completely awesome!

I have had many Legend of Zelda dreams, probably because I played it so much in my youth... Its very frequent, I suppose I should use it as a dream sign. I've had Morrowind dreams too, though they are not that interesting because I spend all my time doing menial things, just like the real game.
