First lucid dream after 2 weeks!

So, I got into lucid dreaming two weeks ago, and before that I knew nothing about it. On Wednesday I was in a sleep sack on a 2 cm thick foam sheet, with three hours of sleep ahead of me. Most of my memory is clouded, but I remember at some point thinking "I'm dreaming...I'm dreaming!". A rush of clarity and perspective was followed by the dream fading into the image of the ceiling of the tent that I was sleeping in, and I woke up. I can also remember trying to rub my hands, but then I was already half awake.

A few hours later when I had to get up, I was wondering if that was what had actually happened, but my most clear memory was the thought "I'm dreaming", and a sensation I have never felt before, and I concluded that it qualifies as a lucid dream, if only a few seconds of lucidity.

I think I was only lucky with my first lucid, and I don't expect the next one to happen very soon. I haven't even got a good dream recall yet. It was cool though!

      Defineatly Lucid.

Some LD's you are so fully conscious you awake, but it doesn't feel like you awoke because of never put your conscious mind to sleep.

Other ones, you become Lucid and remember it after you really wake up from sleeping all together.

What brought you out of your dream so quickly was obviously excitment, which is to be expected. It's hard, but next time do your best to stay calm. Immediately start viewing the world around you in detail to shift your focus off the excitment. The first few times are always an exhilirating experience.

Don't expect; Hope for more. Practice practice practice, read, read read, and more practice!

      Happy dreams

Yeah I always hope, but my dream recall is still far from good enough.
