Thread: Conscripted!

I was conscripted to fight in Vietnam (In the dream. Duh!). There we were in Vietnam in the middle of a forest that didn’t look like the ones from Vietnam. It was flat with tall straight trees. Mist was on the ground and it was a dark night.

We were moving along. The leader is a tall, skinny bald guy. I have a Steyer Aug and the others have uzis and mp5s.

Suddenly we hear some Vietcong coming. We get down and pretend to be dead and the Vietcong come over to us. One looks at me and suddenly we are sent to a room at my primary school’s band camp.

Mr Ridley(Yr9 maths teacher) is giving us a talk about weapons. He gives me a hand held machine gun and takes my Steyer Aug. We then see some Vietcong dressed as innocent villagers at the window. We shoot them and they fade away for some reason.

We are then teleported back to the forest and the Vietcong are nowhere to be seen. We are all scared of things like punji pits and stuff. We walk for a bit and we come to a village.

This village was actually a map from Halo 3 and was next to the band camp and my Pre-School, but I didn’t figure this out until I woke up. We see one of the Vietcong we just killed run into a house. I chuck some kind of bounce grenade in there and it doesn’t kill the enemy. He starts firing at me. Luckily his accuracy sucks and he doesn’t hit me. Enemy are firing and us from all directions.
We are firing back and all my team except me and some guy called Sam who I’ve never met, die. I get in an orange VW Beetle that just happens to be there and I drive away. I end up in the backstreets of Thornleigh somehow and I remember I left Sam there so I do a U-turn.

When I get there Sam Is gone and so Is my dead team. I find there guns buried in the ground and because I now have my Steyer Aug again for some reason, and it’s jammed, I have to replace it.

So I search for the bald guys mp5 and I find it. I get in the Beetle and drive up a ramp on the other side of the place. Some Vietcong come so I play dead. I knew this wouldn’t work. And it didn’t.

They then shoot me. At this moment I become lucid so I kill the Vietcong and teleport back to the place where we all died and I run through the forest. Eventually I meet my team again and they are all alive and In the same place as where I entered the dream.
Sam doesn’t even seem to care that I let him die. For some reason I have my Steyer Aug again. Suddenly we hear Vietcong coming again.

We play dead again and one comes over to me again and looks at me again. Suddenly I wake up and find my dad telling me to get ready for school. This is the first dream that has looped itself.
