Thread: Can't go high enough..

when i go lucid i usually try to fly as high as possible, but i can't get higher that a small house. i try doing the neo thing, i got a bit higher that usual.

i do the superman thing most of the time, its ok for getting around but not for gaining height. any ideas for going extremely high up.

Try a blast off, like a rocket. If that doesn't get you high enough, then there is something wrong with your dreamworld's gravitational pull lol.

Just imagine your a balloon and float in a dream once i got as high as a plane i could see the land below i wasnt flying i was floating

take a run up and jump and imagine ur a balloon or somthing then start floating up

Thats a good examlple.

You really just have to believe you can. Otherwise its a mental block and you think you cant do it, so you wont.

Bit off topic but whenever i try to believe i can do somthing chances are it never works or perhaps i dont really believe...one of my main dream signs is fear an example was yesterday i managed a lucid dream when i realised i was alone in the (this was in the dream) and if i get scared it usually gives me a reason to be scared somthing is always coming after me so i managed to calm down and enjoy the lucid

I normal get a few problems with flying as well

my main one is a cant fly fast enough, i have to flap my arms like i am swiming haha my dc's must think i am retarded. But i think mine is just a mental block and i just need to belive i can do it.

I'd try flying into space. If you're just trying to go higher and higher its just more of the same blue sky and it would seem like your brain doesn't know the difference or the point to it.

Anyways, I used to have a problem with not being able to fly out of water. If i ever hit water i fell like a rock and had to swim to shore. Weird, but I just fixed that one.

i thaught of a neat idea after wantching fantastic 4 rise of the silver surfer. im going to go all stretchy and shoot mjyself into the sky lol.

i dont think ill try the fire guy thing because i might selfconbust irl while im sleeping. (sounds crazy but you never know...)

Something of the same problem is happening with me, or at least it did in my last lucid. I didn't have very good balance when flying, like I would tip over or something.

I think you just have to focus on it and truly believe that you can do it. If that still doesn't work, then maybe you can find some creative way to fly, like putting on a pair of wings. :p
