      I finally did it!

I have just awaken from my very first lucid dream.

I was in this house I didn't recognize and was able to do magic just by pointing my finger at someone. Next thing I know, I'm in the middle of a highway, but there were no cars, just people. I suddenly realized I was dreaming and decided I wanted a certain someone to be there. So I turn around and here he comes, walking down the road towards me. He kisses me like I've never been kissed before. My next thought was wanting a limo to take us to a hotel, so here one comes around the corner. We get in and start fooling around a bit before the driver starts making comments. I point my finger at him and he then had no voice. Instead of a hotel, we end up back at this same house I started the dream in. We continue to fool around, but never actually have sex and stay clothed unfortunately. There were some parts I could control and others that I had no choice but to go along with.

      I'm so addicted now!

Congrats Raven.. sounds like MY kind of dream! Everything is better when you're lucid!

Your level of control will get better with experience. It also helps if you ensure that you're grounded firmly in the dream so that your lucidity is at its highest.

Congratulations again.. now we do the "dance of joy"!

Unfortunately, I haven't had any since then, but it's only been a few days. I don't expect to have one everynight, but it would be nice.

That was actually a regular occurance in my dreams. More times than not, it's the same guy. But with that one it was like a lightbulb went off in my head. I didn't do any reality checks or anything like that. I just stopped walking and looked around. I just said outloud to myself. "Hey, I'm dreaming. I want Jacob." Just like that, he was there. When I wanted something, it just appeared. I woke up before anything really good could happen. LOL

A modified version of WILD. I naturally woke up at 5am after being asleep for only a few hours. I didn't stay up, but rolled over and fell back to sleep pretty quick. I didn't even think about wanting to become lucid like I did when I first fell asleep. Even then, all I did was keep repeating to myself "I'm dreaming" while concentrating on steadying my breathing. I tried several different things to repeat to myself, but I'm dreaming worked I guess. I've done it everynight since then and nothing, but it's only been less than a week. I'm just happy to have had one.

Yeah that is the method that I use most often and it pretty much 90% of the time gives me a dream and most often than not a Lucid one at that. Congrats on having a Lucid Dream ^_^
