Thread: 1st True LD!

By the confusing title, I mean that I have had LD's in the past, but have not known what to do in them. This is my first real LD at the age of 17, and I was surprised after reading about them how much control I had on my first LD when I wasn't even trying to become lucid in the first place.

For any interested, here's what happened.(Warning, it's long)

--Not Lucid---
I'm in an outdoor structure with many hallways fighting Nazi's as an Allied soldier. I have one of my RL friends along with me who treats what is happening like it's a game(this annoys me). I meet up with a group of Nazi soldiers and convince them to talk things out and put their guns down, then stop a squad of allied soldiers nearby from killing the newly captured group of nazis.

Suddenly Muslim terrorists begin swarming the building and slaughtering both sides. terror surges through me as a Muslim comes out of no where at me with some kind of automatic rifle, but miraculously none of the bullets hit me before he is gunned down(I consider how impossibly lucky I was before continuing on)

Suddenly I am on a bus with my grandfather, and begin talking about what he was doing in my dream. He explains that he is not really there and that I am just dreaming

---I Become lucid---

Remembering what I had read about lucid dreaming, I decide that I don't like my current dream, and suddenly will myself into a vibrantly colored rainforest(it is not realistic looking, almost cartoonish). I then proceed to jump extremely high and far as 3 people begin to tag along with me and marvel at how I can jump so far and move so fast.

The three people lead me to some colorful mansion(the mansion is not creepy looking) and we begin exploring it.

Suddenly I start hearing my mother and sister talking in the background of my consciousness(my mother had come to wake my sister up in the room next to mine in real life). I try to tune them out, knowing that they are going to destroy my first true lucid dream, and succeed for a while.

I begin wandering through the jungle again, exploring my abilities of running and jumping, then upon hearing my mother and sister talking again I decide to jump off a waterfall that was nearby(if it's gotta end, might as well end with a rush right?). After jumping off I hit the water at the bottom.

---End of Dream---

In real life, I then jump out of bed and storm into my sister's room ready to give them a piece of my mind for ruining my experience, but as they both look at me and I get ready to say something I realize how silly I would sound and just walk out.


I hope to have many more and am going to try again tonight!
