      Half Dreaming, Half Awake

This morning I woke up and did a RC. I was dreaming. I was in my room and had very high lucidity, and very high vividness. Laying down on my bed still, I looked around my room. Everything was exactly as it should be, which was weird. I started to move to get out of bed, and became aware of my real body, it was in the exact same place as my dream body. As I moved in the dream, my real body moved as well. I did another RC and I was in fact dreaming, then I decided to see if the clock was acting strange. It wasn't. It was stable as when I'm awake. I concentrated really hard and made shapes and figures appear in my room and move around. It seemed to me like I was awake, but just dipping into a dream. I was sleep-walking, with my eyes open, hallucinating vividly. I tried to fly, and when I jumped up, it was as if a filter was ripped off of a screen and I knew I was fully awake. I did a RC and it proved I was awake.

All in all it was a very weird experience, that I am hoping to have again. I'm curious to see if anyone else has had an experience like this.
I had a strange dream last night...

That sounds exactly like something that happened to me when I was started lucid dreaming for the first time.

I think it was my second lucid experience. So far, all of the most vivid lucid dreams I've had have been an hour or so before I wake up usually (I always wake up an hour or two before I should, but I can go right back to sleep). One of my first times trying, I realized I was dreaming because I saw Sonic the Hedgehog. I saw myself in third person though, and when I tried moving, I felt myself moving my legs in real life.

That wasn't the only time though, one time I span in the dream, and I actually rolled over and almost fell off my bed.

My theory is that you don't need to sleep that much anymore; your body has had its rest, so you wake up. Two days ago, I realized I was dreaming, but I couldn't do anything, and when I woke up, I couldn't go back to sleep.

When this happened to you, did you go back to sleep or get up?

      Very strange...

I've been in limbo too, mostly when waking from a lucid dream.

I once grabbed the rug in my lucid dream when I felt stability drifting away. Slowly this feeling in my fingers faded to the feeling of a continuous sheet of fabric; and there I was, awake, clutching my bedsheets.

It's certainally a feeling like no other.

I went back to sleep, after all, schools out and it was only 7.

I thought of a better way to describe it. It was like augmented reality.
