I would have posted this sooner, but I only just got my Internet working again.
A few nights ago (June 28th), I decided that the best way to wake myself up for WBTB would be to use my cellphone's alarm function. I set it to go off at 5 A.M. I spent most of the rest of the night reading about different methods of getting an LD, and decided on MILD.
At 5, I was woken by the alarm. I then realized how complicated it was to actually turn my phone's alarm off. I fiddled with it for a second, and by the time I finally got it turned off, I was awake enough to perform MILD. "I will remember that I'm dreaming," I repeated to myself as I fell back asleep.
And, voila! I realized that I was dreaming. The (lengthy) description of the dream can be found here. The post in question is titled "I Yelled at the Sky."
I just wanted to express my joy that I finally, after about a month of trying, achieved an LD. I had started to think that I might be physiologically incapable, but this has given me the motivation to keep trying. Woohoo!
