Thread: Springtime

The last lucid dream that I clearly remember I've had. It came to me about two-three months ago.

In the real world it's been seven years since I've moved from my town into the city, but the memories of the town still haunt my dreams. I frequently dream of re-visiting the elementary school I've used to learn at, so frequently in fact that it became my own dreamsign.

In the dream I've been walking through the school corridor, surrounded by unknown people, when I suddenly realized that I'm dreaming. As I usually do when I find myself lucid in the indoor environment I started to look for a way outside, which proved quite easy as the dream-school mirrored the real one rather closely.

The outside was filled with sunlight and life. The plant-life was blooming - the trees, the flowers, everything was in bloom. I've walked out of the school-grounds and towards the home of my maternal grandparents, only to stop before the small park-like island of green that used to serve as playground when I was a child. In the real world it's now dead and devastated, in the dream it was full of blooming plants, green trees and, last not least, fairy-like flowers of enormous size. "Springtime", I thought at the sight.

And then I woke up.
