Sounds like there's still quite a lot of noise in your house at night. I'd recommend getting some earplugs. By blocking off your hearing, you might also find it improves the realism of your LD when you have one - that's what I've found with non-lucids anyway.
So I had my first OBE the other day... I was completely beside myself!

Can you fall back asleep easily after waking up 5 hours after going to bed and then staying up for a half hour? That is amazing, if I sleep past like 4 hours and stay up for 5 minutes I'll be awake for an hour. Although I have found that sleeping 2-3 hours and staying up for 5-10 minutes before giong back to bed puts me to sleep TOO fast and then I can't get into a dream.

I always have trouble with this! Esp. when its an image or something. twice I've had this t.v image with the screen having some sort of activity going on, but if I concentrate on it too much I wake up shortly. Is SO annoying omg. But one time there was someone talking in my head while I was in SP and I concentrated on that and it worked getting me into my dream lucidly, but I woke up like a minute afterwards.

My best attempt at WILDing was when I got into sp and concentrated on moving my dream body. That feeling of "falling through your bed" or whatever you feel I'm sure you can manipulate and make it feel as if you are rolling out of your body. But once my dream became clear and a scene appeared it felt so real I thought I wasn't dreaming. make sure to RC.

So i dont know whether to concentrate slightly or not at all. I'll post up more if I find out. I have ample time haha. ITs summmmmer!
Dreaming is forgetting the basis of reality, remembering it is to be lucid.

My fastest and closest WILD was when I attempted to pull away from my body and move my dream body like Dwitback.

Last night I didn't even get SP. I fell asleep seconds after hitting the bed. Very exhausting day. I did have 2 LD's last night though so it even's out.

Tonight I'll make sure to concentrate hard enough to get to SP and I'm gonna try really hard to get a lucid at the beginning of the night.

Once you wake up and are attempting to get very relaxed to get into SP what do you let your mind think of? If I concentrate too much on getting myself ready for when I'm about to fall asleep then I usually end up staying awake for a while. I need to know what i should think of when I'm trying to get relaxed

For me, I try to stimulate my brain by thinking that I'm playing volleyball outdoors. I try to imagine the sun in my eyes, the grass poking my feet, the entire volley all in my head. I try to stimulate all of my senses in my head. After about 3 minutes of that my body is just about ready to go into SP. I just have to push myself a little deeper and then I attempt to pull away from my body and I can usually get SP that way. The hardest part for me doing that method, is keeping your concentration during the senses stimulation.

DarThDreAmeR: We share a common goal. I've always wanted to physically be in a good game of snipers as a spartan.

      I knew I wasn't alone! I love Halo..

But do you keep your mind on volleyball while making the transfer to SP? Which technique do you use to induce it? The first time I tried the FILD technique it worked great. The problem that I'm having now is timing. It's hard to know when to start the finger movements.
