Well, many people tend to assume that lucidity means instant dream control - unfortunately that's not so. Actually it's not that unfortunate because some have complained that a lucid dream can get boring or stale if there is no spontaneous events - too much control.
But anyway, control is something you'll learn. I'd start with thinking about what it is you're trying to do in the dream rather than "I'm dreaming, so it is possible". Realize that you're not in the material world, so don't attempt actions that apply to law of physics in real life. For example: instead of trying to break down a wall or smash it with your fists, try walking through it, with no thought as to whether it's possible or not. Smashing it with your fist would be possible in real life, therefore you're likely to get the same result in your dream as you would in waking life.
