Hi I'm farily new to this site I only started LD...ing two months ago... One day I was telling my friend about this weird thing that happens to me... just before I fall a sleep at night....It happens quite frequenly....I remember when I was a kid whenever it happend I would go sleep in my sisters room with her all scared....Any ways my friend told me it was called SP and he explained LD..ing to me...I always thought it was something evil trying to get me....I came upon this site and read some stuff and had some really really amazing LD's....Currently in my LD's I'm trying to do more and more DC....I find it hard because I use to much force and wake up..... I am able to WILD but I can't DC that well yet I'm getting better each time tho.....I can't DILD for the Life of me... I get way to caught up in the dream....I only did it two times each time i was amazed because most of the time when I LD I WILD.. SP is still very scary I dont panic any more which is good I try to relax and let it pass and then I enter the dream world from this portal....It looks Like a Giant LCD screen with all kinds of crazy colors spinning and moving all crazy....

Well at least now you know your not being attacked! And welcome to dreamviews. I think you got you acronyms mixed up a little bit. DC means Dream Character. Otherwise everything was fine.

First of all, welcome to Dreamviews! Phalangees is right, DC means dream character. What were you reffering to, though? Well if you want to DILD just do reality checks througout the day to see if you're dreaming, and eventually you will pick it up in your dreams. (You probably already knew that, though.) Good luck!
