      My first "semi-lucid?" dream.

Well, I've been at this lucid dreaming thing for months now and had no result until this morning.

I had woken up rather early and decided to go back to sleep. Alot of the time I can kind of feel myself falling alseep but I always somehow end up getting woken up or something like that but this morning I was getting that feeling and it was quite different from the other times. My boyfriend, Matt was also playing guitar at the foot of my bed and I have no idea when I stopped hearing music.

When I was sure I was sleeping I started getting scared and my pulse was really loud, but I've been told not too freak out or I'd wake up so I just calmed myself down a bit and suddenly I was awake again but this time I was dreaming! It was weird though, everything was kind of foggy like I couldn't see right and I was walking down a cobblestone road and there were people everywhere just kind of standing around. I was looking around and I saw Matt but he kind of dissapeared behind some people. For some reason I thought I was going to see him again in a totally random place so I kept looking for him but I knew I was dreaming so eventually I just told myself he would be in the next place I looked. Sure enough he was sitting on a bench on the side of the road. I started running over to see him, but then I remembered I was dreaming and for some reason decided I wasn't allowed to run in dreams (which is stupid because usually that's when you don't know your dreaming, right?), but I had almost caughten up to him so I was thrown back and couldnt run after that. A couple seconds later I just fell in the grass and I was sobbing. Then I'm pretty sure I woke up right after.

There was some other stuff in the begining but it was more just a random thing I would normally dream up.

But it was pretty awesome but I'm pretty sure it was only "semi-lucid" if there is such a thing. After I explained it to Matt he said I should've looked at my hands or said out loud that I was dreaming, it probably would have made it better. Hopefully it will happen again soon!!
