Lucid again but with no powers!

Last night, I was having a dream which had already lasted ages and then while i was running with my mate, i looked at my watch and it was 9.59. I had 1 minute to get somewhere but as I was running I became lucid and stopped running.

My friend had disappeared but Dot Cotton (UK Soap character) from EastEnders was there. I told her this is a dream and she didnt believe me until i told her to fly and she did!

Problem was, that when I tried to fly, i couldn't. I was jumping to fly like i normally do and I just wasnt going anywhere. I was so annoyed in my dream so i thought i'd try my Zanzoken Superspeed travel by commanding it. It felt as it it was about to work but still I could not do that (and never have been able to yet). I asked some DC's to help but they were useless. So I looked at my hands, front and back. They seemed perfectly real - (i love just observing how real every thing looks). I tried to fly again and got a bit further this time. Managed to float about a room wiht a high ceiling.

Then I heard my alarm in my dream. I thought to myself "No way - No way am I waking up now". I saw my sister floating about and said "Go and turn my alarm off so I dont wake up. I even said LA LA LA LA and blocked out the noise of it! The alarm went off and I started to slowly fly upwards - my aim was to go into space again.

Suddenly my vision became like tunnel vision and what i could see was fading. I tried desperately to remove the tunnel vision with my hands, like pulling my vision apart ! Weird... but I woke up at 7.26am - My alarm was set for 7.50 so it was all made up in my dream.

Anyone know how to regain powers when you lose them? I have a feeling that the more lucid you are, the harder it is to use powers because you are more aware that its impossible to do these things really.

      Thanks 4 reading

You answered your own question. It is all about believing in yourself.
Keep practicing and believe! You will get better at it, I promise.

      2 more LD's last night

My LD's are getting better and better. Last night, after only just over 2 hours of sleep, I had an LD. I span on the spot when it started fading and actually felt dizzy but found myself still in a dream. This time in my brothers bedroom and i was about to climb out of his window to fly when he suddenly said "What you doing? You're not dreaming you know!". The dream was very very real and I said I must be I just came out of the last dream and now I am here. After a bit, i really started to think I was awake which is a scary thought at the time!

Then I remembered the RC by looking at a digital clock. I said to him to look at the clock on his video and the digits were all over the place - it wasnt even displaying a readable time. And with that I knew myself I was dreaming, proceeded to climb out of the window and flew around a bit.

First time I have ever used an RC in a dream !

Who knows what I would have done if I'd forgotten it. I'd have probably tried flying around the room first to be safe. But I was lucid and i've never been told i'm actually awake before in a dream so an RC seemed logical.

You know, recently during my normal waking life, i've been putting into place a thought, every time I come across an obstacle - well not so much of an obstacle, but a situation and it works because i've found i do this in my dreams which triggers an LD. Eg - If I was walking and needed to climb over something, I'd imagine i would fly over it. If i needed to get across the road before the car came past, i'd imagine using superspeed to get across. If I am looking for someone in a crowded place (usually clubs), i'd imagine X-Ray or zooming vision. All these thoughts are only split second but i've found I do it in dreams and it triggers LDs.

In fact the once it didnt work though - I did it in a dream which seemed very real. I had to jump over a small wall and i thought "Ha! Imagine if this was a dream! I'd take off flying" When I woke up I was like "Oh man!"
