      first lucid experience

This was very weird and scared me when it happened.

This happened after going back to sleep after 6 hours of sleep that night and about 30 -45 min of awake time.

I was in a dream in my house and saw a car in my living room and figured out i was dreaming. I then decided to try and wake up. I half opened my eyes and saw the wall next to my bed and figured i was awake, i proceeded to roll over to get out of my bed. Instantly i felt as if my body froze in a weird position and then i fell out of my body through my bed in to darkness. While in this darkness i could feel my body in the contorted position but did not feel attached to it. I knew i was dreaming tried to stay relaxed but i woke up once i reached the bottom and my body was in completly different position than the one i felt in the dream. It was very odd thinking i was a wake and then falling out of my body. It overall was not a very pleasant experience.

When you were opening your eyes, you most likely had a false awakening where you weren't actually awake but actually still dreaming.
