      Odd Forest Dream

I recently had a Lucid dream which was in a forest.

I was in a building, like a waiting room. it was dark. i was with a friend, and there was a horse and cart.

I became lucid when my character read harry potter and it had Calvin and Hobbes comics in it. I then realised it had to be a dream.

Unfortunately... when i tried to change it or do anything, half way through doing it i would wake up, and when i fell back asleep it was the same dream as before and i was still lucid...

      odd.

      Congratulations on the lucid.
Yes, often when you wake up and immidiatly go back to sleep you enter the same dream and become lucid. It's called chained dreams or DEILD.

Are you sure the awakening wasn't a false awakening?
Not that I can speak with any knowledge of lucidity, but I've had dreams with false awakenings and it somehow just seems very likely that you'd fall back asleep into the same exact dream because of a false awakening, since it'd still be part of the dream.
