      Lucid LSD

I decided my latest lucid task will be trying to somehow lucidly ingest LSD.

I can't think of a better way to witness a fantastic show of colors and lighting other than this one. I am very curious to see what the mind can come up with for this scenario, and if the mind will prolong the experience for a period of time and put on a good show.

I tried summoning a vial of LSD into my hand last night lucidly but I ended up waking up.

Has anyone tried this? Did you enjoy the effects?

I actually read a few acid trip reports not to long ago. I've never done it before, but it's definitely on my list of things to do before I die. I think a big factor in the effects it will have will be in whether or not you've done it before and know what to expect and what your expectations of it are..

I usually have trouble making anything remotely interesting in my lucid dreams, so LSD sounds like something that would help me spice it up a little bit.

Fortunately (or unfortunately ) for me, I have taken a strong dose of LSD some years ago. More than once actually. Small amounts produce the "trip" enough to see mild visual sensations, colors, and morphing of randomness (like trees or the grain of carpet) into visual patterns like fractals. However at strong dose levels I can honestly say that I have never, and I mean never, witnessed something as beautiful to the human vision as what I saw.

I watched puffy clouds (that weren't actually moving much in reality) morph into amazing shapes and designs; I saw a carpet or stairway literally roll down out of the cloudform. I watched wallpaper turn into clouds all over the wall. Basically it didn't matter what I looked at, I was given an amazing visual display I have not come close to witnessing on mushrooms.

One night about 6 years ago, I remember having a dream in which I saw all the colors and patterns from an LSD experience.

I remember that even in a dream, it mimicked reality so much that I questioned whether or not I had actually witnessed this in a dream, or a flashback in my sleep. I believe that now I am more in belief that it was infact a dream and not a flashback.

The only way I can confirm the amazing ability of the mind to reproduce such an amazing event, is to somehow lucidly ingest LSD. And I can't wait for it to happen.

On another note, I will say that it would be interesting reading about other experiences posted on here, but specifically searching for LSD-related events is somewhat of an annoying task due to this forums 4-letter word minimum search criteria. Damned thing makes me mad.

That's pretty interesting. I've always wanted to have a type of super-reality experience and up until recently have considered lucid dreaming my doorway into such experiences, but for one reason or another, I cannot produce lifelike dreams. No matter how realistic they 'feel' to me while I'm in them, they are still only a dream once I wake up.

I don't mean to get off topic, but would you suggest LSD or salvia, because I've read up on both and salvia seems like one step above LSD. However, it seems much more common for people to have overly-intense trips..

      The thread has been unlocked.

If it stays on Dream Sailor's intended topic, it will remain. If it becomes yet another test of the limits of the drug discussion policy, the thread will be removed.

i have never tried LSD, but most of the closely related psychedelics....
      Psilocybin(mushrooms)
      Salvia
      LSA

Salvia was the most effective for lucid dreaming, infact, i'll probably pick some up soon to smoke, because when i smoke salvia it greatly enhanced the intracacy, and lucidity of my dreams.

You could just open a portal to an alternate version of the landscape, a twisted, trippy place.

      Oh, and Zobey. You're normal.

The only thing taking drugs in dreams as ever done to me was make me go blind. I've smoked joints, eaten shrooms, pills, smoked crack, snorted mescaline, huffed ether and even snorted yopo. Never does anything to me.

One dream I wasn't even lucid and I was sitting on the couch and my dealer was laying out lines of MDMA and I kept snorting line after line and he kept asking me "you high enough yet?" and I kept saying no until eventually I went blind. Thats when I knew I'd done too much. All I could see was white.

That is funny...you suddenly went blind! I guess it would be scary in the dream though.

I know that I am definitely susceptable to dream drugs. Although, I haven't had enough lucids after posting this to try anything yet.

I had a dream one time that I was at this dark party at nighttime in the woods with a bunch of people. Someone there had a cereal box with ecstacy pills in the bottom (disguised as the cereal ). When they left they forgot their box, and I knew about it. So I ate like 3 or 4 of them.

I remember feeling it in the dream quite remarkably afterwards while riding a bike home. I can't remember exactly how it felt, but it was something along the lines of being drunk in comparison. I also had stole the bike from a front yard, and then walked into a strangers house to cook some food on the stove shortly after. That was a fun night.

Yeah it shows you that alot of its all in your head. The placebo effects more real than just thinking your on drugs because sometimes you trick your brain into thinking you've done drugs so it actually does release dopamine.

It was more irratating than anything. Once I went blind I heard someone banging on the door then I remembered someone I owed money to was coming after me so I went down to the door and the only weapon I had in my hand was a fork. Since I was still blind I just opened the door and started swinging the fork like a madman but there was nobody there.

I've always wanted to try something like that. My next lucid dream will consist of ingesting two hits of sunshine acid and smoking a big, fat blunt.

I hope i don't have a bad trip. Thanks for inspiring me.

      meth

One time, in a dream, my mother gave me a baggie of crystal meth. It was actually grape juice powder, but I thought it was crystal meth. The rest of the dream, after that was one of the weirdest dreams I've ever experienced, and I woke up with a headache.

I've taken mushrooms, Oxycontins, and Weed in my dreams.

This is not surprising, because these 3 drugs are the drugs i've used to most in my life.
The dream about mushrooms i was at my school, and i just took mushrooms in the foyer.
I waited and waited, then the bell for class rung.

I bolted up the stairs, and the staircase was in space. Stars and blackness surrounded the staircase, then i felt a VERY weird feeling in the dream. My vision then when completely black. (this dream happend before i ever took them, and it was nothing like the real thing, except for the dreamy feeling.)

I've had countless dreams about pot.... one i can recall right now is a dream where me and my friend went to a trailer park, and stole hydroponic weed plants. In the dream i remember smelling into a garbage bag, and actually smelling the smell of pot.

A dream i had about oxycontins was crazy. I was in my old friends house, and for some reason my grandparents lived there.... My grandma married a new guy recently, and he was there too. All over the house, there were oxycontin pills stashed everywhere. I remember finding a pill bottle, but there were these capsules in them that were flavored root beer, and fizzed in ur mouth when u ate them. I ate a few, and then filled my pockets with all the oxys i could find.

Just i was leaving i got caught, but ran.

I have alot of dreams where im stealing.

I drank a Shirley-Temple looking drink, found out it was LSD, and it was intense. I wasn't lucid before the LSD, but became lucid as the effects came in. I then walked around my house, which was amazing, because my dream house is usually very different. However, in this dream, the house was exactly the same, but at the same time, everything was different. I saw all the things as if I were seeing them as they truly were. It was definately strange. I curled up on the couch, and began having intense timelapses of about half an hour. The world started to take on a more grayish tint, and I started getting freaked out. I reached out for someone in the kitchen, but it was as if they were down an endless tunnel. I wondered if I could take this for 12 hours. I stood up, walked to the bathroom as the world tilted itself diagonally. As I got to the bathroom, I flipped the light on, and when it didn't turn on, I thought it was normal, because in real life, that's a lightswitch that sometimes works and sometimes doesn't. I realized that it was, in fact, on, and the only reason it didn't look like it was because the rest of the world seemed so bright already (even though it was nighttime.) It was a beautiful dream, for the most part, but it was very intense. Needless to say, I think I'll wait a few weeks before I drop dream acid again.
