Just a funny thing that happened in a dream

first off i'm new here, this dream was before i found out about this website, but it's interesting. Well recently i've been having dreams and noticing i'm in a dream, so this one time i was at these cliffs near the beach and i'm just kinda hanging around and i start to walk away and for some reason i think. Hmm this doesn't seem right i must be dreaming, so i think....if i'm dreaming i wouldn't feel the wind and so i put my arms up and a strong wind comes at me and it was so amazing how REAL it was and it made me think that i wasn't in a dream and that i was actually at the beach, but it felt so nice and real. I woke up laughing because i was completely fooled. Just thought i'd share that for my first time being here.

Yup! That's the way it works!

Senses that we have in the real world also work in the dream world (for the most part). Like if someone were to do a reality check and say "Pinch me, I must be dreaming!" They might be right! But they will feel the pinch and incorrectly think that they are awake! It's because you still have a sense of touch!

      AMAZING, eh?!

Sounds cool, although that's not a very good reality check. It seems your dreams are more vivid than mine, actually. I'm sure you've heard me extol the virtues of the nose plug RC before, but it's pretty much foolproof.

Welcome to the forums, since this is the first time I've seen you around (I think).
