Wow what a coincidence, I had a very unusual experience last night. I went to sleep, and the first dream I had I was eating cantalope. And when I was done chewing one piece, I decided that I could be able to recreate that sense by focusing on what it tasted like and what it felt like, well I imagined it and I started to feel it in my mouth while I was moving my teeth up and down. I actually wasn't moving my teeth up and down though, I just imagined that feeling to and it happened. I'm surprised I didn't become lucid...

About the subject of controlling dreams while not being lucid, this kinda reminds of another experience I had that I never brought up anywhere: I was non-lucid dreaming that I was in the backroom of my house. I decided to attempt a WILD. So I lied down on the couch and closed my eyes. When I closed my eyes I felt like I was entering a WILD, it was really weird. I opened my eyes again and said "Woah, that's weird." I closed my eyes again and I could feel it again. Then I woke up. Could it be that I was feeling what it's like to be asleep? After all, you lose awareness of your body when you fall asleep, but is it possible to gain that awareness back when you are sleeping? Or was it just that it was recreating the sensation of going into a WILD from my memories of it? I wonder what would happen if I managed to go through the entire experience of doing a WILD while I am already dreaming... Might bring about super-duper lucidity
