My 1st LD.. So happy

Early morning on the 16/9 I had what I considered to be my first LD. Although it was only brief and I was at a rather low level of lucidity, I am still very pleased with myself. The dream I was having suddenly stopped and I found myself sitting aorund a table with people I did and didn't know. Out of nowhere I just said to myself "I am dreaming!", to which an unknown DC replied "no you're not" (it seemed like he didn't want me to become lucid). Anywho I asked my friend to pinch me to see if I could feel pain and I didnt (a RC I often use) but not long after this I woke up. I just thought I would share my first LD with everyone and hope that there are many more to come.

Thank you all. @ Citizen: I've been trying now for maybe 2-3 weeks which IMO isn't too bad at all

Congratulations on your lucid dream! I say "congratulations" as any lucid dream (no matter how short) is something to celebrate! May you have many more!

Congradulations! Pinching doesn't seem to work well for me, 'cause I usually think I can feel it. : S Yeah I sorta get that but y'know it's the old cliche; "Pinch me! I must be dreaming.." so in that sense I find it easier to remember.
