      Odd Lucid Dream

The previous dream had just ended and I found myself in a curious state, I was aware that I had just emerged from a dream but everything was black. (Maybe my eyes were closed) Anyway my thoughts trailed back to what Stephen Berlin had said, so I thought of this blackness as a transition into another location. Before I know it my entire awareness had changed. I felt an odd numbness over my legs, and heard arguing voices outside my room. Color had come back to my sight and I could see I was in my old house, although it was very dark I stood up. I had a difficult time walking, I seemed dizzy, and so I turned on the lights and stabilized the hazy dream world. I walked to the mirror and observed myself, I was oddly buff, and anyway the dream spontaneously ended into the same darkness from which it sprang

I just thought that was an odd way to start a lucid dream and felt like sharing.

I became lucid in what seemed to be tv static once, but I couldn't do anything and woke up.
      Lucid Tasks:
Beat my subconcious senseless with a pointed stick
Meet Yoda, and get him to teach me the ways of the Force
Find out what a Strappleberry and a Masafuchi Nut look like

Interesting. At least you were lucid
Sometimes WILDs start in a black void. Maybe dreams always start that way, but since we're rarely lucid from the actual begining of the dream (other than WILD), we don't usually notice it.
Oh, and I get to post the smiley for you. Almost forgot.

Welcome to Dream Views, Tsukuyomi! Thanks for sharing your lucid experience.

I think that's pretty good that you escaped from "the void"; I rarely do--once I'm in there, I'm pretty much stuck usually until I wake up. (Maybe that's why I'm terrible at WILding.) Like you, I have occasionally heard voices, and sometimes you can join in the conversation. Sometimes if you don't hear anything, you can call out and someone will answer.
