Was this a lucid dream?

Hi, this is my first thread/post. I've been really interested in the subject, I've read about it on the internet, different techniques etc. I've been trying to Astral Project for some weeks now, and I think I finally had my first experience 2 days ago, but I would like someone to analyze it please: I was dreaming, apparently in my grandmas house, and then suddenly, I turned my head, or the scene changed itself, and I saw very very quickly like 2 men .... staring at me, it look very creepy. It lasted less than a second I think, when that happened, I felt like something automtically happened, I felt like if I was actually getting outside of my body, like if I finally astral projected. I then tested it, I did the jump, and effectively I begun to float. I then started to float around. I didn't had much control of the experience, I only remember parts of it. I actually got to do the jumping thing twice, because at one point I felt I woke up, but was actually still dreaming. --- So I ask... what could those 2 men be? could they be dark entities, dead people, or actually entities that tried to help me achieve the astral state? Because it was as soon as I saw them that it happened. Also, is it normal to see the experience very fuzzy and remember bits of it, and don't have much control about it? Does it applies as a lucid dream or OBE? Thanks in advanced!

welcome to dream views, I guess I will help. Did you know you were in a dream, if you did then you were lucid. Those people were just dream characters, and harmless.

the simple rule is, if you have to ask if you were lucid - you weren't. lucidity is KNOWING you are dreaming, so you can't ask "did I know that I knew that I was dreaming?" It's hard to say if it was an OBE. All though I do believe in spirits, I don't think any spirit could have any power over you- such as drawing out your own spirit from your own body. Otherwise, it was just a really trippy dream!
