Nightmarish and painful false awakenings and SP

      Hi there doods. (and ladies)

Last night I had a rather disturbing experience. I woke (or thought I woke) to ear-splitting noises in my head, and the feeling that every second I remained still, my head was being crushed...I would have this FA...feel these electric shock/pains in my head, freak out and get up to tell my parents, wake for real, fall back asleep, terrified, have the same experience, dream of getting up to tell my parents...wake for real, scared, and this repeated 3 or 4 times altogether. I think it may have had something to do with being overtired...the sensations were very similar to what some people describe in SP (I just read Clairity's descripiton of her experience and it seemed somewhat similar to mine..sensation-wise)...the fear of entities and all...

It was like a vicious cycle, fall asleep, feeling terrifying entities crushing/pulling/shocking you... dreaming of going to tell someone, waking for real...falling asleep and the exact same thing happeninig again. It really was very real...it felt like someone had been squeezing my head with tongs when I woke...

Perhaps next time I feel those strange thing i'll do an RC and roll out of my body..since I'm pretty sure I've been trying to get to that stage intentionally for a while now...

      Any thoughts or related experiences?

Oh, yes! But only once... I know just how bad it is, it's terrifying.

I didn't feel any pain, just fear. This is actually one of the few non-lucid dreams that I remember.

In real life, I was sleeping at a friend's place, I was around 12, and we crashed on her parents' bed for some strange reason. I fell asleep, and dreamt that I woke up, and walked towards the open door. Then, the door closed, and revealed a crazy man with an axe, which he swung towards me. I thought this was real, and screamed, and woke up, or so I thought. I sat bolt rightup, and my friend woke up. I told her about my dream, and we were both scared after I told her. We both went towards the open door, when it swung closed, and the man was there again with the axe. We screamed, and I thought I woke up, my friend woke up, I told her the dreams... Rinse and repeat. I think this cycle repeated 3 times. I left my friend asleep when I woke up for real.

Ok, so it's not exactly the same, but similar.
